Poll: CtA in a Grand Marton Bow?

It's a simple question actually... am I mad to think that a beta CtA GMB would be the best bow (PvP wise) I could get my hands on without including Faith and HoJ?

Yes, I am aware of the fact that most sane people would put a CtA in a flail with low requirements so that more than just one char can use it, nonetheless a class specific item :laugh:

What do you think? If it's a stupid idea, what would you use then? Which bow would come close to the WF without being so cheesy?

well that Ohm is expencive to put in a GMB, well I wouldnt have done it

I'm not convinced anything short of Faith matches the damage output of a WF, actually. And I'm pretty darned sure a beta CtA GMB is a waste of an Ohm, but if that's what you wanna do...

Although...what's the ED on a beta CtA, again?

To be perfectly honest, I didn't really manage to find the stats of the 1.10 beta runewords, as I am sure what I saw here on purediablo.com wasn't accurate.

Should be around 250%-290% ED, but I could be wrong here.

Of course, the best option would be if nepeta gave in to all the threatenning PM's I've been sending him, and agreed to let me have his Jah :sinister:

And even then, would you put Faith in a GMB or a Mat Bow?

Okay, after thinking about this...is there any particular reason you can't put CtA on switch? It wouldn't be so hard to find some kind of a 300ED 40IAS bow, would it? There's just GOT to be a better use for that Ohm!

a beta is only to test the programs and the items found in beta should never be alowed in a final.

@Alighty Cow, I am not sure if I'd go for speed, skills or damage, but it doesn't really matter now does it, as nepeta is very much against the idea... still :laugh:

The CtA is actually more for the dmg than the BO, eventhough a level 16 BO surely won't hurt my zon :smile:

300% ED, 40% IAS bow... sounds simple enough... god knows I've never seen such a rare in my life :drunk:

Back to the question in hand... why can't u always use the windy? I'd expect a guy with an ohm to have enough wealth to buy one?

Anyways, I obviously need a good PvP weapon, but WF, as awesome as it may be, is considered BM because of it's inherit KB.

Will be one of the most unique weapons on the SPF!

Also, I've heard of people who have done this before and they all seemed to like using it so give it a try!

Edit: I do recommend checking the beta stats though first, you don't want to be left with a 16bo 100ed weapon or something useless like that for PvP.

SeDnA, I specifically remember kab saying that if you use the CtA runeword without the OHM (there should be two of them in beta), it will not work in 1.11.

Are the mods the same on both runewords, I wonder?

Actually, it would be pretty hard to find such a bow, infact impossible. Bows get only 20% IAS :undecided:
