FFX-2 Sucks.. hard.. only thing good is the pics. FFX > X-2

I've sworen off RPGs...NWN ruined them for me...and from what I know/hear FFwhatever isn't high on replay, one the best things about BG
 
NWN is good if you just can find the right server to play on, that is if you know what you are looking for, bioware did a great thing tossing in the editor

bah...stuff like that is bad enough on War3...I tried a couple times but...and I don't think games should require you to play online after you beat it once, and that's the feeling I got..plus the diffulculty jumps around alot...most of the time it's too easy, and then you get to a near impossible boss fight...

VIII and IX... well IX SUCKS and XIII I havent played but it is not one of the best.

Well, thats because the asia realm isn't very..."advanced". I have a friend from runscape who played the asia realm for a year or two, and convinced him to play east. He thought that a 110 damage sword on my lvl 42 pally was godly.If Easties/Westies and Asia realms were combined...all hell would break loose. Tons of "OMG!!!11!!!1 LOL!!!!11!!!!1! me ub3r 1337 idemz pwn J00 anyd4y n00b!!!1!!1!!. and even more I'm Rick James *****!!!.




The Legend of Dragoon is my favorite RPG eva.

The afformentioned parents :rant: have put a stop to my game spending :(
I think what most likely bugs me is I like my RPGs simple, but organized...something I can get the nuances of fairly quickly (not counting things like frame rate in D2, which you have to have a deeper understanding to fiure out) which the FF games I've played havn't shown, and I don't like the idea of unavoidable random fights...

That's why BG series (PC and PS2) is so great for me...it is easy to do some min/max type stuff without reading the manual, the quests don't require a guide to do, and you can run from almost anything

I'm a wierd hybrid of simplisity and complexity for both gaming and real life...

The first time I played BG1 I did 80% of the quests (w/o guide)
The first time I played BG2 I did 75% of the quests (w/o guide)
The first time I played NWN I did 50% of the quests (w/o guide)
The bit of FF has confused me greatly, also I find their storylines too fantasic (as in fantasy)

FF games can easily claim 50+ Hours. I knew a friend who broke the clock on 7 by actual play (99 Hours, 99 Min, 99 sec, or something like that).

2 things: When you can drive and have your own money, how do they keep track of games. Hehe, over a summer, my collection mysteriously grew :creep:

OH, no random encounters? For PS2 Get Grandia II (Should be $20 or less if you can find it). You can see the monsters and has one of the best battle systems EVER, I feel. Works well for the game, great story, and just fun.
 
that's another reason agaisnt FF for me...and I don;t have a PSanything, nor can I drive or be completely free in spending yet, so that complicates my getting a PS2

well, I could have some sort of driving powers, but I havn't had a need to get registered yet...and on the whole, they are fair...they let me get what I want (within their reason :cheesy: ) without spoilling me
