Slipin & TheKbob:

Is that "~*your name*" after each post some kind of non-pal signature, or do you actually bother writing it every time?
If it is a signature I'm interested in how to fix something like that. Please tell? :worship:

there's just trying to look unique...like the millions of anti-conformists wearing spikes :uhhuh:

Slipin seems to have copied my style, I think I picked it off Patsy though.

Yes, It is something I always do, kind of an end, and you know if I edited cause I put after my Name.

~Kbob

ya as people say I "jacked" up kbob's style, I used to do ~Slipin~ but i got kinda lazier "er" so then i stole kbobs idea.

Actually this gives me an idea

I think it's possible to assign certain hotkeys in windows by performing some strange finger ritual. Like *press a+esc+9* to open five programs at the same time/shut down the computer/open a certain program/make the computer perform a noise that disturbs girlfriend/whatever.
What if you could assign *write "Fearox, leader of the Mushroom cult"*? Voila´! A cheap non-pal signature.
Don't work? Well, maybe I should "borrow" that Paypal account my girlfriend uses...

Another, even cheaper, idea:

1) Open notepad
2) Write down the "signature" you want to use
3) Save the document as "1337sig.txt" or something

When writing a post on forum (after you did that of which I mentioned above):

1) Write post
2) Open 1337sig.txt
3) Copy the text
4) Paste it under your message

for a test in Informatique (databasing or spreadsheeting, can;t remember) Apple works had a "record" function...so that computer (they all got replaced after that year) has/d a 100% correct test that it will do from memory

Yup. I think the function is still there. I work at a newspaper from time to time, and as a journalist it's very handy with a signature (as you write a lot of articles every week). It can be recorded by selecting text and then pressing some keys. Of course, that's Macintosh... I'm behind a Pc, and I don't know if the function is in Windows.

Bah! Hacks, I say!

Ah well, 'impersonation is the sincerest form of flattery' or so the saying goes.

I had a 'signature' once back when one was free and you didn't have to pay.. not because I'm a cheapskate, well, yes, I am one right now, but being as poor as I am blah-blah-blah..

But how did that first 'sig' go? Oh yes... I remember now...
