OT: The SPF Mafia Game Round Three

A minor post restriction might not be that bad but figuring out what's reasonable is the problem. It's rather hard to keep up with a thread that moves 20+ pages a day if you have any amount of life at all, especially once you take time zones into consideration. I know back when I was in the game I had fairly large burst of inactivity, hence the reason I asked for someone to replace me but at the same time, I tried logging on and reading the thread only to find out I missed out on several pages worth of posting overnight.

I'd suggest a rather high limit to start off with and we can reduce it gradually as the games continue. Drastic changes alter things far too greatly for a game of this nature.

Post restrictions are bad for dialogue. I'd suggest just having a formula for day length that way people don't have to read so much for any given vote choice. Make early days longer since it takes a little bit longer to get your bearings in the game and there are more opinions to hear. Later days shorter since fewer people are involved. Weekends count as a single day since it's likely people are busy over the weekends.

And again role/alignment reveal please. This is just a random fest until the last two days at which some actual strategy comes into play. At the very least add in more investigative roles than the cop so that someone has a clue what's going on. Say a mortician that gets to know dead people's alignment, or a watcher who can see who targets a particular person at night.

Semi-resurrection.

I'd just like to thank skoolbus for running this game and keeping up the creative element of the mafia kills. My own raised a smile to my face. Another entertaining round, many thanks!

Also to the rest of you - after all it'd be a fairly quick game if it was just me. Congratulations to Jaago for fooling everyone and also to the mafia team for cleaning up the rest of the job. I had two out of three of you spotted...

Cheers all.

Jaedhann was a mason, he couldn't have been the witness too. Or could he?
