OT: The SPF Mafia Game Round Three

Let me rephrase:

If there are 3 mafia left, I have to believe everyone I'm voting with is townie.
Even if there aren't 3 mafia left, I would think a vote on a mafioso wouldn't be joined by another mafioso at this point, but as you switch your vote so readily, I can't be sure that it's not a mafioso voting a townie.

Except that you didn't vote me when you had the chance, which means you're mafia if and only if there's less than 3 mafia. Why does that make so much sense?

Argument for skunk being crooked detective: he voted for goltar yesterday, and he needed to vote someone else today without attracting suspicion.

Amazing how skunkbelly is theorizing that goltar could be mafia imprisoned to protect one of their own, and somehow I was part of the mafia that did it. What about if it were the reverse? I did have the second most votes yesterday, I would have needed the protection. Why wasn't I imprisoned? Oh that's right, I have this gift for persuasive argument and leading the town to lynches, definitely not because I confuse and muddle the situation and would be a desirable lynch for those who don't want to read my inane banter.

Jaago, that's obvious.

If you were mafia, it would mean that you had some reason to not to win the game today, and would be looking to better your defense for tomorrow (I knew Rashiminos wasn't mafia!). You just take it too much like it's fact, which it's not.

It doesn't make sense to me, because you already have enough votes for a lynch. If I were mafia I would just let you burn.

It would only make sense if I were the last mafia left. Yeah, right. There's more real evidence against it, I believe.

Think about it.

Going off how people have been lurking, w_m, lister, skunk, and gohabsgo can all be mafia. You've been more active, if not better reasoned, and muzzz had the intelligence not to vote yet, so muzzz is town.

A this point it's not much use to point at 5 of the 6 possibilities. People have to make up their minds.

I know I have made up mine.

One thing I would like to point out... I already made issue of the fact that Rash conveniently has placed himself at the bottom of his suspicion lists on each and every day, with Goltar directly above him. But something I hadn't noticed before is that he has never given us a town/mafia post tally for Goltar on a single day. Doesn't Goltar's past record matter to the game? After all, guilty or not, he will be out of jail tomorrow, and will have an impact on the game.

Well, let's see, those suspicion lists are mine, and unless I have some sort of mental disorder, I really don't have to suspect myself, especially since I can't vote for myself. However, to be thorough, skunkbelly didn't notice I omitted my name on my day 2 suspicion list in post 943. Now this was a mistake on my part, but why skunkbelly would be making a generalization about my place on my own suspicion lists is beyond me. The reason goltar25 is riding the bottom end as he is that I can't vote for him today, so a hindsight suspicion list can't really move him up when I'm trying to decide who to vote today. As has been argued earlier today, goltar25 could be either townie or mafia, and since he is unable to respond for himself, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt until tomorrow. I haven't mentioned the past notes on him because they aren't relevant to my vote choice today.

skunkbelly, if you're going to entertain the idea of goltar25 being imprisoned to protect a mafioso, then follow-up and explain how I (since you're voting me) either put him there or consented to have him put there.

Okay, last post before I go to work today (I'll be back in about 8 hours)

I'd like to hear from muzzz, and also the townie(s) on my lynch train, about who they think is also a townie. You don't want bad company on a potentially game deciding vote.

If the game should end today, please let skoolbus put in his own endgame post, don't ruin his fun.
