OT: The SPF Mafia Game Round Three

unvote golt

She's been consistent in her suspicion of W_M and goltar yet unvotes now just before the end of the day? Perhaps Thyiad is so sure of their mafia-ness because she is one herself!

Hopping onto the bandwagon of the day, won't care who gets lynched so long as it isn't another mafia member.

lets lynch *someone*

This is mafia behaviour. Lynching people while being averse to reasoning why is fine for the mafia, unless as I mentioned above, it's one of their own members who faces the flames.

Anyone seen my pitchfork?

This confuses me. Pitchforks aren't traditional mob weapons. Maybe an attempt at blending in unnoticed is going on here.

Therefore I can only make one conclusion from the day's talk.

vote: LORD NIKON

Disclaimer: Some parts of this post may have been made in jest. Thyiad may have been chosen as quote victim because she was the first poster I came to scrolling up who didn't happen to be called Sint Nikolaas or LORD NIKON. From now on, pigs may no longer be flying, time may once again rush by when you are enjoying yourself. Have a nice day.

Ask yourself tho. If I was mafia, would I do what I've done today? Wouldn't it attract a little too much attention? It would've been easier for Me just to kill Sint during the night and contuine banding on Moar. But no, the good fellow Sint is being accused wrongly and even tho he doesn't state that I'm mafia, he voted for me in hopes to "unify" the votes.

He's getting desperate, but it seems that he'll pull through. Pity.

@Skoolbus: could you somehow help the peculiarity of your use of the world `peculiar' in your description of Jaedhan's lynching out of the world?

He could be a mason, could not be, take from it what you want.

Also, pitchforks are the stable of mob weapons, but not today. Today there aren't enough pitchforks for a good ol' fashioned lynching. It is now night (five I believe). I need pm's from everyone who needs to pm me.

FYI to all, I will be out of the office most of the week, and therefore mostly away from email... I'll still be able to participate, but I won't be able to post quite as much (and since I'm not a "big" poster anyway, I don't want my quiet to be seen as particularly suspicious).

Very early just before dawn, a helpless Brak is tied down to train tracks just outside of the town. He screams as loud as he can for help, but no one hears. When the 6:00 goes by, Brak is no more.

With 16 alive, it takes 9 to lynch. Begin day five. (It is day five, right?)

Good luck, hope my death will be avenged  (seriously not dropping a hint here, just a D1 reference).

why a train?

Brak, we'll try.

Now, let's get the bandwagon rolling for today. I wish we can finally agree on a direction so the bandwagon will have enough passengers to get to the destination.

Here we go:

Vote Sint

If you were a mere townie, you wouldn't need to defend yourself so fiercely as you have.

I had a feeling the first person replying to this death would be a mafia member and how ironic, my main suspect for the last 2 days does. I've been on your case for a while and it won't change.

Vote Jaago

Defending yourself so fiercely is no indication at all... Anyone being accused would defend themselves.

I think everyone arguing is likely town
I believe this statement is why he was killed and it leads me to believe that he was dead wrong.

Of the people arguing I think Sint is most guilty so:

Nitpick: Brak was the first person to respond. And well... he is not Mafia. :badteeth:

To me lynching is just that. A group of scared people going after anyone different because they can, not because they have a reason.
 Wow, RPing & good reasoning. (and Lord N, you are different from us by your very tone, just as Rash was different because of his excessive posting or RK becuase of his RPing)

It would also be worthwile to note how muzzz and Moar piled on me and after that SHOCK Sint votes for me because... no real reason at all. They're simply trying to get me out of the game via a lynch since they can't afford killing me at night.
I'm not too suprised that moar went with an obivious bandwagon canidate esp. since if you were to check out the bar you'd find out she's had a few other RL things on her mind latly.
I can certainly sypathise with not having enough time to read up on the lastest gall being brewed.

Right now in just actions taken, mafia:4, towines:1.
So even if Jaedhann was mafia and not an innocent, they're still up on us. I've been wondering where the vigilante is in all this, were they taken out that early? it that individual just as indecisive as all of us? are they even active? is the Dr just that L33T?

Poor Brak, and poor train driver.

Does anyone else find it suspicious that the accident rate here is so high while the crime rate is so low? (yes, blatant quote from Hot Fuzz, but I just saw that movie and Skoolbus labeled nearly all the deaths as accidents)

Perhaps Brak's famous last words?

Even though this was not his last post before being murdered, the interesting part is about his suspicion of the arguing people being townsfolk. That will likely be true for most of the arguing people (there are too many to be all mafia), but I think it does not hold for all, since the mafia already used the tactic of lying low in the last games.

My suspicions of Sint have not exactly lessened, so I'm going to vote for him again.

vote: Sint Nikolaas

I'm quite surprised noone has been detained.

(and Lord N, you are different from us by your very tone, just as Rash was different because of his excessive posting or RK becuase of his RPing)

But it's quite poor reasoning, wouldn't you agree? We're a modern society after all.

I'm not too suprised that moar went with an obivious bandwagon canidate esp. since if you were to check out the bar you'd find out she's had a few other RL things on her mind latly.

Never heard of it. Sorry.

We are revolted by this statement! If our father were alive you'd be beaten in public for such foul language...

*mumbles something about freedom of speech and human rights*

Tell me Sint, doesn't that look like diverting attention? It's not like you're helping with it either.

Don't like Nikon's last posts from yesterday. So now Sint can't talk about anything but Nikon, because if he does he's "diverting attention"? The rest was almost as bad.
