OT: Pokémon Go Mini-Bar

I got a Snorlax, but it was bugged. My party consisted of 1500cp mon, and I didn't know what I was up against.
Rocket party was: Snorlax, Charizard, Snorlax.

I learnt later in the day that the Rocket 'mon were very high cp, up to 9500 I've seen, and that there is a bug that prevented me from using anything above Great League (1500cp.) Clearly, I couldn't beat that Rocket trainer.
I've also learned that the phrases the Rockets use coincide with their team type, so could use that to work out what they may have. It's not exactly relevant, as... I can now use my 4000cp Mewtwo and everything else, so the 'challenging start' has become pretty easy.

Love the new feature though, and will be looking out for these in the future.

I picked up a perfect bulbasaur from a purify (not the one in my first picture). So I’m pretty content for now. Would like a dark snorlax and a dark dratini but going to be patient. May be a major event arriving on Sunday. Can’t wait. Wizards has taken a severe backseat as all I do in that one is get my daily task stuff done.
 
I got a 98% shadow dratini :)

I still think the rocket teams are quite challenging. I have good RAID teams, not pvp teams!

Generally, smackdown tyranitar is a good choice for the harder teams.

I found that my all fairy team (lvl 30+) nearly lost to the dragon team. That's how OP they are!

and CP can go past 9999 - that's when it doesn't show CP (you might see this with dragonite)

I’ve discovered smackdown ttar destroys all. I am in the process of maxing both of my >90%s. I think the hardest time with them was against venusaur for some weird reason.
 
there are only about 6-7 stops in my area (if I did a 40 min loop) so I think I'll just do those. Not planning to go anywhere, really.
 
After the initial bug of 1500cp vs 6000+cp, I haven't really found them challenging. 4000cp Mewtwo with Ice Beam, Tyranitar and any 3rd has handled everything so far.
But I haven't come across a Snorlax, Snorlax, Charizard team since the very first one.

I had a walk at 4pm in my local outer suburb mini-cbd, and cleared Team GO Rocket out of the area. Nothing very interesting from it, but a nice walk around, and I really liked this events. So many neat features, including the chance of getting a decent IV, and then adding +2/stat to the IVs. An extra chance at a Snorlax, Dratini, and just a neat little event.

And, the fact that this is just the start. There's already predicting more events, more shadow 'mon to come, more Go Rocket battles, and potential!

My haul was ok. Had a snorlax run in a trio of snorlax, dragonite, dragonite, but got a dratini at 4:59 to make up for it. That trio was the hardest thing that I only survived with my legacy dragon claw dragonite in the red.

How was everyone’s community day? I got 4 but I was traveling, so I’m pretty content. The gift event is going well as I’ve got a 10/10/10 shiny elekid already. Picked up a shiny rayquaza last Sunday and have a deoxys speed from a night ex raid. How’s everyone else been doing? (Send me gifts daily if possible!)
 
I only got 2 shinies, but at least one of them was male. Played for 2 hours.

I am really enjoying this gift event, tbh. I've already walked 50 km this week! Still only using the free incubator so I can only imagine how crazy it is with more than 1 egg going at a time
 
I’m expecting to get one when I’m in LA in two weeks as larvitars were very popular over there during gen 2.

That egg event was amazing. Shiny elekid, bonsly, and wynaut to close. The stardust event puts me back at 1.2 mil. I drove to DC last weekend for relicanth, so to my north American friends that are ever in Cleveland can trade me for one. I’ve still got 24 of these things.

September looks really fun as they have so much planned. I will probably get off of wizards and move back here full time. Gen 5 is coming! We need another box increase!
 
I wish I had more incubators, lol. I saved most of the rewarded incubators but have never bought any, so really only a few left.
 
If you and pharphette are up for a vacation, don’t forget about the safari zone in Montreal. That should be a good event for you Canadians.

I’ve lost track of the amount of money I’ve spent on incubators for this game, but a majority of my non-community day shinies are hatched.
 
ya it is almost perfect for us... but we'll be a bit busy around that time and it's still a 5-6 hour drive each way.
 
There have been too many incubator events IMO. I don't often use Incubators, and I save all my coins for the best Event Box I need/desire. But I really have to compare getting more Raid Passes, which last a lot longer and I enjoy doing, vs adding chances of getting ULTRA Unown's, Gibles, shiny regionals etc etc etc. Too many Incubator quests means that I have to get the Incubator box, which I can use within a couple of days! At least the Raid Pass boxes let me choose how often/how many/how long I want to do.

And, I'm not surprised that my first Lucky Friend in over a month is... a member of these forums, very, very far away. :D

Looking forward to the rewards and events coming up!
 
Trade for an uxie if you ever come to Cleveland and I ever go to Australia..... I can give you unown Tauros or any NA regional excluding pacharisu.

My other two lucky friends have given me eevees as I’m working on a collection of that entire family whether shiny lucky or just plain lucky.


Yep. Putting my two new reward iTunes gift cards into this game. Think I’m gonna bail on wizards as my friends lost went to 2 people still playing.

Waiting on the first September event, although I’m on vacation through Thursday of that week, I want some hatched unowns so lots of walking.
 
This unown event has been nice. In eggs I’ve got gible, shiny feebas, a shiny larvitar, and 1 T. Also got a bunch new rocket Pokémon including double larvitars. How’s everyone else been doing?

Also starting Monday 4pm edt I will be consistently opening gifts for the shiny regional event, so send me all you have for a week if possible!

I hatched ~55 eggs, no unown or gible. Oh well, still a nice event and I did walk 80 km this week so it was worth it.
 
I haven't even been able to get 10km eggs! I keep getting 2 and 5km eggs, so I haven't been using the remaining Incubators. The few 10km eggs have been nothing special. I guess I've saved for shiny regionals. XD
 
87 eggs later, a significant portion 7k, not one regional shiny. Looks like I’ll have to recover next week when gen 5 opens. Still gonna keep at it though and hope for one. How’s everyone else been doing this week?
