P.s. I am back from my holidays, so it'll be back to Aussie gifts rather than European ones.
 
@djmbbandie @pharphis (pharphette actually.) EDIT: @Jcakes - I believe your ACC as well, although you said you weren't fussed as you were already Lvl40. Just letting you know. :)

Bandie and pharphette (you're not cool enough, Pharphis) are going to reach the next milestone for friendship bonuses. A group of us are going to be dropping Lucky Eggs and popping friendship bonuses during our Entei (Shiny!) Raid Hour.
During this time, Entei (and Armoured Mewtwo perhaps) will be spawning during the double XP event. Instead of 10,000XP per raid, it will be 20,000XP, or 40,000XP with a Lucky Egg. The perfect time for those friendship bonuses!

Unfortunately, you guys are far behind ours, so, we will be popping ours first. I don't know your timezones, but there's a good chance that I'll be opening gifts at this time, unless you let me know not to beforehand.
Supposedly, you can open PoGo and pop a lucky egg before the Friendship Bonus notification pops up, but mine lags and pops up the XP bonus anyway before getting the egg on.

I don't know what time the Entei Raids will occur, but probably GMT+10 4pm.

Feel free to let me know to hold off, if you don't care, or let you know when times are confirmed. :)

Edit: No idea if this works, but it's a time converter website. Let us know if it works or doesn't. I can't test it out very well, as it states that 0:00AM GMT+10 = 0:00AM Local time. I guess it works for me...

for pharphette and I, don't worry about it if you have the chance to get UF by entei raid hours. You can egg without us and open. We'll save our lucky eggs for UF and BF with other people who are more local. I didn't even plan on having any lucky eggs but the jump start research provided some.

Now, unfortunately I just moved to a place with way less stops, sprained my ankle and definitely won't be giving many eggs in the near future. I usually also reach the 20 gift limit each day so I can't easily promise daily friendship boost. I usually don't open gifts from international people until I want an egg from them but that hasn't happened much, either
 
Will do. :) Thanks. I'll probably be opening some tonight, as it's raid night with double raid XP, but will hold off Cakes and Bandies for now. No rush into it, and the XP is pretty insane nowadays. I'm expecting a level increase soon, especially with the "Jump Start" quests giving out massive XP and stardust bonuses.
 
No worries from me. I’ve been so busy with wizards unite that I haven’t really done a ton being halfway to 40 in go. With this event I’ll probably switch over for this week only to see how close I can get. Got two shiny raikou and hatched a shiny togepi. No shiny alolans due to lack of play. I’m level 20 in wizards unite now. Haven’t given out gifts much lately either. Will work on that.
 
How are you finding Wizards Unite, and what is the level progression like? (I assume fairly similar?) I like Harry Potter, but not enough to try it.

Kinda like go, but much less team based stuff. All fortresses (translated into gyms ) in wizards are the same. There really isn’t a way to show off anything) rewards are better as you occasionally get a coin, lure(called dark detector), or strengthen spell potion (similar to a gold berry) during your random encounters. There is also a daily bonus that all you have to do is to sign in as well as daily tasks that when completed strengthen your character.

Best things I like are the ability to brew potions and the ability to duel oddities (monsters). It’s basically similar to go in that the things you collect are fragments of pictures, and some stuff is extremely rare and like to run a lot.

The first event ends today at 3pm my time and was a good one to get some books to improve your characters spells in battling. This is a tracing game to make the spell instead of throwing balls, so that’s also kind of new. All in all, a better game for soloing purposes as the really hard stuff to defeat in challenges (raids) doesn’t really start till you make the second level of raids.
 
Finally in the final million exp to level 40. Got 1 Shiny Entei for 23 raids. The 23rd of which was a group of us playing chicken with traffic in order to make the final raid at 6:59. Also have 4 armored mewtwo already.

Mudkip is this weekend. Could use some. How did everyone else do?
 
6 raids (all free passes, didn't feel like doing more - though initially planned to)

Got my first shiny hundo :)

Also one of my only shiny legendaries to date. Also got shiny latias for my weekly reward, today.
 
Got a couple of shinies, did around 10 I believe. My first (old acc which is now retired,) hit level 40 during the event.
 
Did ~ 20 entei for 0 shiny. Wife got 4 though so I am good.

Got 1 armoured mewtwo for the dex, no point getting anymore.

TBH I'm doing Tier 5s when possible for the rare candy, and extra legendary to swap for lucky dex
 
Wow. Didn't see any today. Maybe they're only releasing to certain devices as testers and expanding quickly. There's no update for me in the play store. Maybe it's a rare encounter so that it doesn't become stale too quickly, and I just got unlucky.
Looking forward to encountering these soon.

Not that rare - look for weird coloured pokestops.
