Dialga isn’t too bad. Got 4 of 6. One over 80%. He’s really close so good for those spinda quests.

Got lucky and someone told me where the spinda task was yesterday at my university so I've got valentine's (like 8 of them), #5 and now #2
Looking forward to more Dialga raids I think (need to catch more dragons, and this one seems actually useful + T5 raids are good exp and drops)

I've started doing more raids recently, my job has be going downtown 3 days a week so I joined a discord group. The group has a habit of doing lunch time raids, so I can normally hit 1 or 2 level 5s each time I'm down there, which is kind of nice.
I think a lot of places have that sort of thing - particularly bigger cities.

Fighting Pokémon event, would like a machop with good ivs for once. No shinies yet. Also really hope no shiny rayquaza this weekend as I’m traveling again.
I get my raid kicks on sundays with my raid group. We usually have at least 10 if not more over 30 players and we do 5s and interesting 4s. 9:30-about 12ish. Maximum is 7. If I feel like I want to do more I split off with the remnants.
For groups either messenger or discord I suggest looking up Facebook Pokémon go for the area and then asking group for messenger/discord.

My first good one so I immediately maxed it out (I'm lvl 34 so not quite) and even taught it a second move since I know I'm going to use this thing constantly in gyms. Didn't get rock slide as the second move (I got the desired moves already) so I'm considering use a charge TM to roll it. I only have 8, though.

It is funny I transfer any Machop that is not 100iv these days. I have 6 x 100iv level 40 machamps so don't really need anymore.
I have got 2x shiny machops this event so far so that is fairly lucky
No shiny machop, mankey, rattata, pidgey, or anything else for a long while for me. I keep anything 96%+, or very high level that doesn't really require stardust (and these I trade with a friend for other high level 'mon. If/when I get a 'mon with a higher IV, I may transfer the high level/CP with low IV's, but don't have full teams of specific 'mon yet.
Main ones I aim for are Machamp, Eevee and Gengar, so congrats on your 98%! He'll definitely be very useful in gyms and some raids.

Several raids had two or three waves of people doing the raid, and massive numbers hunting Rayquaza. The chats were all full on, even the two that are usually fairly quiet.
Most days, I simply aim to do a single raid (if I can) to use up the free pass, so spending a couple hours raiding and with people was good. I'd like to spend more time raiding in groups if I can find time (and everyone can meet up,) and just hang out doing them.

I used all my raid passes (daily + accumulated premiums) from previous boxes yesterday. I have been saving gym coins for the next box, but am considering the current (15 raid passes + extras,) just for the raid passes. I anticipate something better for my circumstances coming up next, but we've had these boxes for sooooo long already. They will have to change them again soon, so I hope it's something even better than just the +15 Premium passes currently (I don't care about the lures or starpieces.)

did 5 raids, caught 4. Happy enough with that since they were all weather boosted (the one I got yesterday wasn't)
So lvl 20 rayquaza with double flying moves... good enough for machamp raids or should I use the higher level ones for that assuming I have other usable attackers?

It is the best dragon type. If you have any tms and your ivs are decent I highly suggest changing over to dragon moves.
Machamps have a double weakness to psychic so I would suggest building an alakazam team.

A lot of people seem to accumulate raid passes. My old account (retiring PTC account due to inability to link it to google, and numerous log-in issues,) has almost 40 in it, and I don't raid a lot. My main account has just run out.
@pharphis I try to save around 1500 coins, so that if there is a box I really want, I can get it straight away. Additional coins go into clothing and boosting backpack space/storage as needed, but I only upgrade space when I need it, and have already tossed a heap of basic healing items/revives.
I am very much considering the current Ultra box for the passes, but I was hoping to save until the new boxes. We've had these for so long now that I thought they would've changed them by now.

Machamps don't have a double weakness to psychic (they are pure fighting).
Double Flying Rayquaza is the 4th best counter to Machamp. Best is MewTwo (Confusion, Psychic) 2nd Alakazam (Confusion, Futuresight) and 3rd Espeon (Confusion, Futuresight).
At level 20, Rayquaza is very close for a solo machamp, but not quite good enough.
I feel like I don't actually need an amazing dragon TBH. I can't stick it in the gym, and it's not like I'll be soloing, duoing or trioing tier 4-5 raids where it would actually be useful (since my GF cares less than me and I mostly only do 1 raid/day so I'm not too hardcore about this).
I guess dragon is also usually neutral DPS which is cool.
Either way I'll be powering my 91% ray up after tomorrow since I have the rare candies to burn and then I'll probably leave it as flying/flying until a need obviously arises. It is lvl 25 atm and I just reached lvl 35 today!
