OT: Pokémon Go Mini-Bar

*serves spirits and alcoholic beverages

This event has been a weird one. I have four chinglings now (one I evolved into a chimecho that was missing from my dex), but not a single shinies from this event. Will open my last feebas tomorrow.

On the other hand, first time I’ve been over a million stardust. Columbus is about 120 from Cleveland.

my GF has been deleting all of her older crappy pokemon, which means she can't send me anything that I missed from before I started playing. Thankfully she still has a farfetch'd

It was about 34C (93F) for us on Feebas day so not awful - but a bit warmer than I would have liked.

I just found the quest really not enjoyable (for a 3 hour window). If it was all weekend it would have been fine, but for a 3 hour period the quest selection was weird

No shinies for a while. No Groudon or Kyogre either. :(

Well, I did get a random shiny Luvdisc accidently, so that was pretty cool, but really want a good Groudon, even just high IV one.

Yeah. The dust is disheartening to look at (now.) At one point, I was over 1,000,000 for the first time ever, and thought that that was plenty. So I used that, and thought that I'd keep 500,000. But Milotic was just one I really wanted to max out (she's not quite there, but with time,) and given it was a high IV shiny Feebas, I just had to go nuts. We've all got something rare that we'd like to max out!
Now I need to invest lots of time and starpieces in the next good stardust event and grind as much as I can.

I am sitting at ~1.5M dust now - my highest was about 2.5M but I spent a bunch when pvp came in for extra moves and maxing pokemon. My wife has ~10M dust.

So I went raiding with the invisible people of Santa Monica. Got three groudon (all non shiny) but weather boosted. Will probably see if I can get some more before my midnight flight back home tomorrow. Looking for a shiny one (I already have two shiny kyogre from prev events.....)

what do you mean by weather boosted with regard to the groudon? Are they better (after catching) when you fight them in weather that advantages them?

@pharphis - they are level 25 instead of level 20 when you catch them.

Being ground pokemon - it needs to be Sunny for them to be boosted. For Kyogre it would be raining.

In addition, weather boosted Attacks get a bonus to damage. IE: In rainy weather, your (or the Raid bosses) water, bug and electric attacks gain some extra damage. The Raid Boss type doesn't matter, as long as the attack types are boosted by the weather conditions.

Too cold to play. Will catch up on gifting this weekend. Palkia looks kinda cool (not being familiar with gen 4). At least we’re getting the pig for the next community day. I’ve got a 100% waiting to evolve.
