Anyone remember how I was bitching the other day about losing $15k? I got good news today... I am getting $7500 of it still. Some good news for once...

No cookies for you guys. It's from the intro sequence to Sonic CD for the Mega-CD. I downloaded an emulator last night and was playing it a bit this morning.

It's not exactly the most obvious of things though, especially from that lil 8 frame clipit.

The full thing as a .gif without being shrunk or optimised is about 2.5mb o_O ~530 frames... I shrunk it down to fit in the avatar slot, and its still 600+kb
 
I went to visit my university I plan to attend and talked to the Engineering dept. head:

Told him grades, scores, what I wanted to do (Aerounatical Engineering, Propulsion units (Engines)).

Yu have to get one of 3 laptops to use at the school. Cheap = $1200 and Best = $2000. The $1200 is more in my pricerange, but then we asked if we really needed the biggest, baddest one for the engineering and he said yes.

I kinda winced... $800 more I didn't really have...

The guy said "What's wrong." Told him.. he says... "Well, we have some left over scholarship money, You just get the best one and I'll make up the difference."

Never met the dude before and in 1/2 hour, he already gives me $800. When we get the letter of conformation, he will get a big thank you letter.

Montréal won... I really didn't care who won the series... but then half way through the game I heard U.S.A chants and I snapped out of it and started cheering for Montréal. Even if I dislike em (Because of certain parties), they're still Canadian.

Edit: Someone answer that Elemental Set up post... I've decided I'm not allowed to respond since I told that person to turn to the forums instead of me giving them the answer again.
 
It was a bonus I didn't get but was planning on. I was told in person (not writing) I was getting it but later was told I wasn't. Today I was told I will be getting half, so its still better than nothing if it actually comes through.

What a sweet series the Habs win the habs win first time in the stories history of the franchise they come back from a 3-1 deficit bring on Tampa now :clap: :winner: :drink:
