I know you are just joking, but thats not funny. An ex gf of mine in high school slit her wrists after we broke up. She called me like 2 days after we broke up in tears and I was a little rude (I was playing snes O_O ) and she attempted suicide. She lived, but I will always regret that.

Even just 2 years ago, a girl I dated for 3 years after we broke up was really shook up about it and "didn't notice" a red light and plowed her mustang into an 18 wheeler and 75 mph. She lived too (barely a scratch in fact, which is crazy).

You just never know what people will do when they are down. Sometimes people are closer to the edge than even those most close to them know.

actually.. i wasn't kidding... i know how serious the matter of which i spoke of is.. did not type it with a light heart or a tone of humor, my mother was suicidal a few years ago, and she's attempted it a few times before that...

And Garb, that sucks man, all of it Some people fall in love deeper than the person they are falling for, and can't handle it too well when it breaks up. As I'm sure you know it can hurt like hell. This was just one date, but I get the feeling this girl is gonna dwell on it in a kinda self-propelling cycle, where she's depressed cause she can't get a guy, and she can't get a guy cause she's depressed :/
