I got confused also since I managed to get a freaky pop-up of a Farcry promo. Once I managed to kill it I found the Pucelle thingie, but yes I'm lacking the plugin.

Is it an fps? If it is I won't bother looking at the trailer at all.
Last fps I played for a longer period of time was Half-life(original, LAN)...

I saw the trailer, and seriously is that what disgaea looks like?

It kind of looked like it belonged on the SNES. Maybe I've had to high expectations on the PS2 graphics?

It's usually the way some tactics games are made.

FFT used 2D animated w/e you call em. There are two reasons why they are like that:

Space saving for Speech, cut scents, TONS of levels.

Easier to animate when you have 100+ of them.
