I think he got banned for bypassing the word filter. And one thing I think is absurd about the rules (and I tried several times to get this changed) is the rules of this site ban for bypassing the word filter but the rules don't forbid swearing. Basically its ok to swear, just not to bypass the filter. Makes no sense.

Also, when you consider that the link only directed to a picture which "might be" comprehended to mean inappropiate language. :D You're the lawyer here, get our man off the hook...*COUGH* :innocent: I mean, fair treatment according to the forum rules. :D

Seriously, the cooling period might come in handy for Asheron whether he has got diarrhea or Disgaea. More time to do his eh... business.

It's a circular arguement. If a person was completely removed from swearing (somehow) then they'd have no idea what was being said when they read "****." If, however, you bypass the filter and the person reads it, then they'd be more inclined to wonder what it is, and find out. The part that is circular is that the game this board addresses is 17+, battle.net is plagued with those 4-letter words, and basically reading a psuedo-swear word would cue a person as much as **** would.

Most of the words could be taken from the context, for example "**** you" really shouldn't be mistaken by anything other than what it implies. If you are clueless as to what that means by age 17, I kind of doubt that the person would be allowed to play a violent game such as Diablo. A person deserves to be locked in a cage and beaten if he is so reclusive from the world he doesn't know common phrases.

The filter does promote finding other ways of expressing your opinion rather than f' this f' that and the others. If a person is now forced to find a new way of explaining that, then the language may get a little thicker than "omg ****." I personally don't swear in real life, just not my style.

Oh, how i have longed to play another game... i used to have a HUGE board like the size of two pool tables put together, but it slowly deteriated (huh?) and i had to burn it... i still have all the terrain i built though.

I played Biel-Tan Eldar, the one with all the aspect Warriors. I'm thinking of selling all of em now. Should get some good cash. I'll work on some pics.

On a more serious note I got Dungeon Siege since it was like ten bucks and it's pretty interesting.

dungeon siege was one of my least favorite games ive ever played. i am just not interested in games where you have like 10 characters at once. i like to build ONE and hes the one who does all the crazy stuff. like diablo. guild wars. WoW. o_O

then it was also the fact my stupid mule wouldnt follow me around, he would get stuck in corners. and to add, i felt inclined to gear up my chars with the best gear that i encounter from a npc, so when you have like 8 chars, it gets dull.
 
hmmm, Girls are frustrating, and it frustrates me to know that yet again a female has managed to frustrate me, and it frustrates me more that it probably won't be the last time a female manages to frustrate me.
