OT: languages

I'm from Belgium, located in Europe.

My main language is Dutch but I can speak English (duh) and a little bit of French.

So to you all:

*Hallo, reageer allemaal hierop in je eigen taal.
*Hello, reply all to this in your own language.
*Salut, Réagiz tous sur ceci dans votre propre langue.

So what languages do you all speak?

I took 4 years of spanish in high school, I had a horrible, horrible teacher for 3 semesters. Up there with chemistry as least favorite class ever.

I don't know the verb for reply, so I won't try to translate

Reaccionar

I don't know how to conjugate it, but since you had 4 years of spanish I assume you know a little of it

Incase you're wondering how I got this: I have a huge all-in-one dictionary Dutch/French/Spanish/Italian/German/English

Goeieavond

I know Nederlands, English, Deutch (just a little), Français (hardly anything). Plus Latin, but that one's extinct tho :)

English: consider this thread responded
Cantonese: I don't have the tool to write chinese...
French: Je parle le français.

spanish, english, some french, forgotten most of my italian
Reaccionar:react
replica:reply although the verb responder is of more frecuent use.
A lot of the online dictionaries, the good ones use context, that is why reaccionar can come out as reply.
I just did a few days ago a written exam in spanish translated from french......arrgghhh high beams became street lights lol, should have stuck to the french...but I did pass

English : its a given......
Cantonese : Nay ho, yong nay goh yuu yeen dap yee goh forum(wtf? how say in chiense)
Spanish : Hola, contestar en tu idioma

I know:
English (me got it down good very  )
French (4 years and high school and i forgot it all)
Vietnamese (my dad was a translator in Vietnam and taught me a tad. I know how to say: silence, female dog... if you get my drift :wink2: )
Greek (Mostly ancient Greek but moving on to modern soon)
Bad English ( :drink: )

Russian: my native language: Privet vsemu 4estnomu narodu!
English: obviously
Latvian: the official language in Latvia, where I live: Sveiki visiem
French: from school, but most of it is forgotten now.
Regards

I speak....
Finnish (mah mothertongue): Tervehdys.
English : Surprise surprise!
Italian : Sono Carlos, e tu?. Prende qualcosa da bere? (forgotten most of it, dunno if I even wrote that right  )

Aww. I only speak 2 languages... (If not counting 1337-talk)

English: My english is pretty decent.

Finnish: Suomi taas on minun äidinkieli. Hmm, tuntuu oudolta kirjoittaa suomeksi täällä...

And what do are you saying in Finnish here? :uhhuh:

First of all: I think people wanted to say 'Deutsch', which is German for... 'German'. :D

Ik woon in Utrecht, Nederland (Utereg!) en spreek Nederlands.
English also, obviously.
Ich spreche auch ein wenig Deutsch, aber es ist schon einmige Zeit her das ich viel Deutsch gesprochen habe also es ist nicht sehr einfach fuer mich. (Where the hell is that Umlaut when you need it? >_< )
Je parle Francais un tres petit peu.
Hablo un poco d'Espanyol tambien(?)

hey hey blev lige nød til at svare :-p <------ dansk

hey hey just had to answer :-p <----- english

that's about it.. understad german, swedish, norwigen but can't write it though..

Ugh... I'll try to translate... :cheesy:

There's many from Finland. Almost noone from Sweden - I though there would be more.
I speak Swedish, English and a bit of Estonian. I know a little bit of Finnish too - my friend's adoptive parents are from Finland, so she has taught me a bit (mainly insults...). I'll start with French at school next week.

Randomness about the mighty Swedish language:
"deux" in French is pronounced exactly like "die!" in Swedish. Deux!!!!
Swedish is one of the hardest languages to learn. Bwahahah...

Kay sut yong joong mun dap forums do hay yong yee, dan hai haw lung wui lan dee yun wahi ley do mm dzee gno gong dee mut yeh.
