OT: If you could make a movie out of a game...

I agree with this good fellow here :D

There was a TV show called Zelda about the original Zelda.

The biggest problem with making a Movie from a game is that most "good" story line games take up 10-40+ hours of game play, try to condense that to 2-2.5 hours of movie time. It's not easy and its not quite feasible.

Bard's Tale would make for a good movie, or any RPG that is, they are story line driven and could be turned to a movie, Mortal Combat was a bad example of a game gone movie no story line in the game thus no real story line for the movie.

movies are 80% story line, 10% acting and 10% effects, plot and storyline thats what you need to make a good movie.

pong...tehehehehe....

The Original Command and Conquer or Tiberian Sun. imagine the big pitched battlescenes and the ion cannoning of Kane's Temple *drools*

Or Conkers bad fur day.....TEDDIES!!!!!!!!!

I was just about to say it - Myst would make a great movie. plus sequels too!

There are several books based on myst and riven. Some were even decent, though too slow for a movie.

It could be condensed, I believe.... i guess the end result would be a cross between indiana jones and lotr... maybe we can get speilberg to do it... and leelee sobieski to be princess zelda... i would play link of course:lol:
