OT - Best Diablo2 Music

Is there anyone who actually still listends to cd's? (except me that is :p )

Currently lying beside my cd player are
Tristania - Ashes
Tristania - World of Glass
Sirenia - At Sixes and Sevens
Nightwish - Once
After Forever - Invisible Circles
Dimmu Borgir - Death Cult Armageddon
Sins of thy Beloved - Lake of Sorrow
Summoning - Dol Goldur

Nice choices. ATM it's mainly doom/death metal. Some good ones:

Novembers Doom
Draconian
Rapture (my fave band - from Finland)

Also some black metal for late nights:

Burzum
Mayhem (esp. with Dead on vocals - spine tingling!)
Darkthrone
Lunar Aurora

And some more mellow stuff:

Green Carnation
Anathema
Demons & Wizards

Have a band from Finland (again) called Diablo, but don't play it much! Never played the Diablo in game music. Never play any in game music at all. Weird, don't know why, just always been that way for me!

Well, I have ripped my cd's into mp3's, does that count? :D

You have started listening TSoTB and Sirenia?

I have added Edenbridge, Evereve, Leaves' Eyes and Trail of Tears to my playlist recently. Of course, all the old stuff has stayed there too

I started listening to SotB about eeh... 5 years ago or something? wild stab in the dark, and to Sirenia from the moment their first album was released :p

Trail of Tears is quite alright too, although some time ago I saw them live and that was a real dissapointment

I think I just got pwned :o

why is that? because I listen to them longer then you do? weird way of being owned if you ask me :p

No, I just thought you haven't listened them much before. I was wrong :p

Currently most played albums in my Creative Zen.

Pain in Salvation - Remedy Lane
Opeth - Still Live
Opeth - Morningrise
Opeth - Live at the Providence (bootleg)
(The True) Mayhem - Out From the Dark (No Dead, no Mayhem)
Vital Remains - Dechristianize
Nile - In Their Darkened Shrines
Nile - Annihilation of the Wicked

No nu-metal or metalcore. I can't stand it.

Well, After spending all night and most of today copying all of my cd's onto my HD, it appears I have a great love for the 90's grunge. I have tons of Ninvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Seven Mary Three, Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer. I also have some B.B. King, a ton of Beatles (from my parents, but I still like them!) The starwars soundtrack... No country. (I can't explain it, I just never have liked it, though some bluegrass is good).

I'll just quote this since it's basically the exact same thing I listen to most of the time. :D Well, mine is all ripped to MP3s, though. But I do own all of the orignal CDs and have them securely stored "somewhere". I'd play them if I could find them... :teeth:

(on a sidenote, I think "On the Wane" by Sirenia is the best song ever. :) I just wuv the violin solo... )

I have a lot of different music. Everything from country, to 70's disco, to rock. Also have video game music, mostly Final Fantasy themes that I listen to, but stuff from other games as well. Right now, I'd have to say Linkin Park, Evanescence, Nickelback, and Switchfoot would be my most played during Diablo 2.

Diablo2 music & sound effects. but if you're asking which piece from D2, well, i like Act 1 open area music more than the others, though all are nice.

I listen to rock, from emo to heavy, but here is my playlist right now.

1.)The Used - Blue and Yellow
2.)My Chemical Romance - Helena
3.)The Used - Let It Bleed
4.)Mudvayne - Happy
5.)Korn - Alone I Break
6.)30 Seconds To Mars - Attack
7.)Papa Roach - Take Me
8.)Avenged Sevenfold - Unholy Confessions (<anyone here know who that is?)
9.)Marylin Manson - Personal Jesus
10.)Metallica - St. Anger
11.)System Of A Down - Aerials
12.)Papa Roach - Between Angels and Insects
13.)Avenged Sevenfold - Clairvoyant Disease
14.)Hawthorne Heights - Ohio Is For Lovers
15.)Linkin Park - Easier To Run (Best LP song, besides In The End that is)
16.)Foo Fighters - Best Of You
16.)The Killers - Mr.Brightside
17.)Killswitch Engage - The End Of Heartache (the one from the RE2 Soundtrack)

Oh and on the new System Of a Down album, it must be the in thing of music to complain about the US and it's "war lust". Some people just can't get with today's world. One line that really bothers me is where they say in BYOB (godawful song) "Who do we always send the poor"? The ARMY is purely volunteer geniuses.(Except for the draft, but that has nothing to do with wealth either)

Edit:Oh Nightfish what kind of music is that? Sounds like goth/death metal that my friends listen to.

Some of it is gothic. (sirenia, tristania, after forever, sins of thy beloved) Nightwish is ... uh... symphonic metal? Kinda like gothic without the growling. I always forget what it's called exactly. I only divide music in "good" and "bad". Nightwish is good. :)

@ahcw - Wow. Remove the three P's in the middle of that and sub in Ministry and we have the same playlist for when I am "in that mood."

I also have my put Braveheart ST on in the background, mood.

Then sometimes I have the just Randomize all 8000 tracks mood.

However, the hands down coolest most motivating single boss running background track of all time has got to be Dark Tranquility - Wonders at Your Feet.

I need a script/mod that starts the track each time my character spawns in game, when I decide to do some runs.
