New Forum game - well sorta.

Simple idea here folks:

What DII character would an actor/movie character/book character/etc. best fit into?

Discuss the pros and cons of each class they might fit, and why he/she would best fit this class.

For some types (Jedi, Solid Snake, James Bond, Rambo, Richard Rahl), it's going to get tricky.

Discuss.

con: not to sure how agile he is

Just throwing this one out there, but the OG barb, ARNOLD SWARZINAGER (sp?!?)

pro: old but probly still kick some ***

con: possibly to old



 
The Rock: Barb

Pros: Big, bad, could handle two large axes.
Cons: Hes was the Scropian King.

Halle Berry: Sorc
Pros: fits the part. Looks, and has been Storm.
Cons: Sucks as an actress.

Alan Rickman: Nerco
Pros: Proffesor Snipe (Harry Potter), great voice, likes the dead can be "evil"
Cons: would need to be grey haired and not so depressing.

I would see Liv Tyler as an amazon. Loved her in The Lord Of the Ring as an elf. No cons here :rolleyes:

Carrie-Anne Moss assassasin(matrix anyone?... realy showed some nice moves there!)

The rock as barbarian maybe?



 
Hi all! new to the forum!
my contribution:

1) Vinnie Jones: Barbarian
Pro: for the people who have seen X-men III, he's the JUGGERNAUT.
-textbook barbarian-
Cons: cons?

2) Xena would be a excellent assassin
Pros: black-heared female fighter, kicks like hell.
Con: well, i kinda miss the claws... and she misses this 'edge', that assassins have in diablo.

3)Kofi Annan as Deckard Cain.
prototype of the wise, old, grumbling man. And, he has the looks...
I know he' not a diablo char class, but he'd definetly get the oscar for best supporting actor.

Samuel L. Jackson = jedi
Jedi = agile
Agile = desynch
desynch = pally
Therefore Pally = Samuel L. Jackson

Catherine zeta jones with long black locks = perfect for sorc.

Vin diesel for barbarian... why not ... barb with some bad attitude lol.

Chris Rock paladin with comedic attitude... haha

Pammy Anderson amazon for her amazing ahem natural athletic talents :P

Shirley Manson (aka lead vocal for garbage) assassin .Her looks and attitude are just right for that char.

Steve buscemi for necro :P necro with some comedic value and the correct evil undertones as displayed in 'con air'

Umm druid im going with stephen segal cause he kinda looks the part and ol steve segal plays the 'nature boy' hero part pretty well. Plus im not keen on druids nor keen on segal but not letting that cloud my judgement on either count :wink3:
 
Someone said this before but, T-bag from Prisonbreak would be perfect for a necromancer. He looks so sneaky. Atleast in the series...
Denzel Washington as a paladin. Dunno, leading black actor...

Cant really say for the rest... cant think of any nice. But steven seagal doesnt get my vote for druid. Mel Gibson or Vhristopher Lambert maybe. Braveheart and Highlander images stick. And they are kinda druidish and close to earth guys.

The gals... Blonde amazon... Not any bimbo, cos the ama is fierce. A smart blonde... this is hard... Meh... Pink has some attitude atleast... Really cant say.

Theres some actor that kinda small, used to have short black hair. French maybe? She could be the assa.

The sorc could be played by... Angelina Jolie perhaps. Cant think of anything original now.

The pala could also be played by Daniel Craig.
The barb by Vinnie for obvious reasons. Or some wrestler. Not mr Dwayne Johnson. Triple H maybe.
 
I can see Chuck Norris as a raby druid, fighting Marlon 'fatty' Brando (aka Shenk the Overseer) to save the townies nearby... especially the little Anya, played by Nathalie Portman.

Portman who later on is kidnapped by Marylin Manson (aka Nihlathak). Chuck Norris will then have to consult the 'so badly casted' Ancients: Hulk Hogan, Steven Seagal and Arnold schwarzenegger.

Then Chuck would party with a bunch of townies played by oldies actions actors to kick Baal's butt. Baal being played by Bob Barker.

Terrence Hill could play a Dire Wolf and Bud Spencer an act 2 merc with Infinity.

This would be so awfully bad that it would break records !
 
I ignore the whole gender thing, I don't think it's important.

Assassin - James Spader
Good actor. Could do anything but I think stealthy menace would be a cinch.

Amazon - Bif Naked
Fine looking woman who wouldn't simper around.

Barbarian - Vin Diesel
Best candidate at the mo

Druid - John Cusack
Bit flakey, could pull of a druid

Necromancer - Ellen Muth
Well, I would like to see it

Paladin - Nicolas Cage
Tricky one really

Sorceress - Sandra Bullock
Hopefully avoid simpering too much.

sorry but i have to intervine here, every seemed ok (spect i hate vin deisle) but u cant change the race, it would be like the horrid mistake they made in daredevil changing kingpin..... i thought was a travisty...

and as for a druid... yeah as for a druid... are we talking make up included or just a big harry guy?



 
Race is irrelevent and so is gender (I think you'll find Vin Diesal is the wrong race, too). I am talking SKILLS.

If you want big hairy guy then that man from the Grizzly Adam show in the 70's would work. Or the old guy from the original Dukes of Hazzard. Wouldn't be good to watch though.

@Kiba. I think your sig is having pups, it gets bigger everytime I see it! :grin:

then i will say ryan renolds aka van wilder... for pally, since i think hes a kick *** actor and the humor, o god the humor....
