new char

Hi,

been wanting to create a new char, but don't know what to choose. I have a hammerdin clvl 60, which is pretty much killing everything with a 2k hammer even without my enigma( w/c my friend gave me for free, together with a HOTO). anyways, any suggestions? fun chars that i can get the equips with by trading those items above, their pretty much all i have. lol.

Do you like melee, spellcaster, ranger, etc.?

What class do you like?

Why not finish the Pally?

What's your definition of "fun"? Overpowered killer, tactical build, or challenging underused/underpowered build?

i think i'm on to casters mainly, cauz i've mat my sorc before(v1.07 i think).
think i'll finish my pally eventually cauz he just runs around killing evrything, specially when he wears the teleport thingy. fun?! hmmm, hard question, must be challenging but not to hard to the point that i cant use /p? anymore.

normally i'd suggest a chargadin, but since you already play a pally and are on to casters, i'd rather say fire druid (hybrid or not?): challenging, fun and caster ... i don't have experience with them, so no item suggestions from me...

i considerd lamebadger's suggestion and went to the druid section of the guides and ended up wanting to create a wulfie instead. lol. anyway, i went to the traders forums to get a ribby already. I have no use for the hoto and enigma now, so any item suggestions for me to aim for? (for the price of my equips, that is). i have no clue on item value. =(

I personally would keep them around, and try to find some stuff in-game or trade your doubles around. Those items are generally very hard to come by (assuming you play SP, as you are posting on the SP board), and they have uses in a few builds that you might want to do in the future. To hold on to those items and it be a bit more difficult to play your druid, to me, is a very wise move.

ooow, sorry bout that. my friend is mainly playing sp, since he doesn't go to school anymore spends 12 hours or more playing at his house, he's main char is a sorc which he uses for mf'ing. i think he's playing some other game called cabal that's why he gave his char away (to me that is). that's all i know about his d2 char basically. i know he uses atma rrw and rwm, he's the 1 who taught me how to use it, don;t know how he got it though. i've restarted my pala from scratch so that's y any help was a indeed appriciated, specially when he gave me the itams. i really am not sure if he did anything bad to obtain the itamz, and i really want to be part of this great community, in that cauz if u guys think that the itamz is duped, then i'm willing to restart all over again, i'm making a wolfie anyway. hehe. hope i'm still welcome here .=(

- Sell that Enigma(s) to Akara and make a screenshoot so you will have them later for watching and memories to come about what was the feeling to tele-hammer-tele, so, that will be great inspiration for actually hunt of your new, real one and only yours Eny

either that or don't trade, i don't because of my computer situation
(2 pc's, one without tinternet that can run diablo and one with tinternet that can't..:( ). anyhoo its more fun to MF around the game yourself, it's a much better feeling finding that uber rare TC87 for yourself rather than trading for it imo.

wholeheartedly agree with Lynchgrinch, good luck on that fury wolf, even though you don't have a ribby yet, the decent weapons you find yourself are worth more than the mind blowing weapons you trade for
