Necromancer (summon) help

Well I am making a summoner necromancer and I would like to know a few things.

1) What is a good stat build for a summoner necromancer
2) is it worth it to put up some strength for equipment??

Ok heres the stat build:
STR: Base as possible, its possible to get by with 0, i did. With enigma, torch, anni, marrows, maras, and shako you shoulud be able to get 156 strength for the spirit shield.
Dex - NONE unless your equipting something which prob wont happen, dont add alot
VIT- EVERYTHING ELSE
energy - none

2. If you don't got the gear then yes some. But just dont pump alot b/c you need to pump vit cuz u only get 2 life per vit point.

1)
There are really 2 ways to go in assigning stats:
- Vita build; with as many points as possible in vitality (dex and energy base, strength enough for equipment
- Max block: enough in dexterity for max block, energy at base, enough strength for equipment and the rest in vitality.

Which one you choose depends mostly on your play style and personal preference. If you want to play PvP I'd definitely go for Max Block.

2)
If you already have specific equipment you want to use, use its requirement to determine how much you invest in Strength. Otherwise you probably want to aim for a Mage Plate as your final armor (required Strength = 55). Whenever I play untwinked I always keep about 20-30 stat points in reserve in case I find something I want to use.

Max blocking for a summoner is not the way to go. You have like 50 meat shields to tank all the physical damage you want. Plus you can just terror anything that comes near you. The stuff that gets past them are magical elemental spells which cant be blocked. And no one really uses pvp summoners since they are such a pain to use, and not hte greatest thing.

pvm - which is what most summoners are...pure ones anyways...

max vital
no dex
min str
no nrg

pvp - with a shield
max vit
dex, just enough for max block
min str
no nrg
