nat set phoenix striker

can't seem to find a guide.

anyway, despite massive dmg shown on LCS, seems somewhat awkard. maybe its my control :p

so, I have 4 sox to play with, 3 from armor, 1 from helm, and mayve 2 more from each weapon since I dual wield.

what do you sugest to use in these slots?

I am going fire/light, ditching cold altogether (claw of ice kinda looked sucky) and spending rest into claw mastery for some AR.

facets seems to be an option, but which one, if not them what would be a good choice?

i m not sure that facet works on phoenix. and i'm lazy to search little about it

well still empty sockets..got 5 sockets to play with now, that would make rather nice -25/+25 to either fire or lightning (possibly lightning but they are so damn expensive to a point where I really don't wanna use it on phoenix striker)

meph//I find it irritating to recast. it adds nice dmg since almost all my attacks are like 7 frame except Dclaw as i found during the time I was using treachery.
but at 1 skill, even with + skills it doesn't seems to do much. plus the fact that I so far it seems all good with just 2 elements. (and merc. the good old infinity XD)

...which makes me think this is getting to be so damn expensive build for a fun build

zari// yeah ,read through the guide and its pretty much what I've done, except counting in anni and torch. still, didn't suggets much about sockets except use it well for any gaps (res, ias) both of which are totally unnecessary as both criterias are met now.

I will use some cheapass facets and see how they go, if no-one is certain. :)

A: No for the Traps (as the game considers them minions, they do not benefit from -x% Enemy Resistance), and yes for CoT/PS/FoF. Do note that while -(3-5)% To Enemy Fire/Lightning Resistance on Rainbow Facet does not work with Traps, ATM, we have not confirmed whether the +3-5% To Lightning/Fire Skill Damage on it does (though it has been confirmed not to work in SP).

Both FB and SWeb are exempt from the above bugs/penalties, and benefit normally from Rainbow Facets (e.g.. both -% enemy resistance and +% skill damage work on them), as the game does not consider them true "Traps" (and by extension, they are not considered minions).

I also want to know if anyone has some nice ideas what to socket for this build.
Im making a phoenix striker with about the same gear as mentioned before in this thread and I wonder what to sock with since resists wont be a problem and facets seems kinda worthless.
IAS/ED jools are too expensive and most damage comes from the charge ups elemental damage anyways.

ias, -15 requirements, fhr, jewels
shael - 20 % fhr
cham - cannot be frozen
ber - 8 % damage reduce
jah - 5 % life
ist/topaz - mf
etc...

4x sol = damage reduced by 28
4x Tir = +8 mana per kill
4x Jewel of thunder = 4-(244-400(varies)) lightning damage
4x pruby = +152 life
4x ptopaz = +96% mf
