Ok, I guess the cfg-issue could be a bit "risky", but the same is true for other "current forum currencies" if you know what I'm thinking about... everything without FPs... Well, it's all about trust in the end. That's MHO.

I have found a possible error with gomule. In the quest tab there are 3 ticks on the Rogue Encampment even though I have not yet completed nightmare. The rest all show the correct number of ticks.

Interesting. The quest stuff is pretty annoyingly complex (because there's so many steps in a quest and it's all stored as a damn bit string), but if you send a copy of the char to [email protected], that'd be very helpful.

Cheers.

Im a bit confussed on how to setup the flavie tab on my flavie report i thought i completed it but got an error on every one of my d2x and character files saying they do not exist.

when I open flavie to set it up I have tabs.. they go in order Files, Atma settings, Flavie settings, Dupes, Runes. Im not 100% that in the flavie settings I did it all correctly Im most worried about how to set the Report name (html): and the itemlist name (txt)

Ok I think I got it still not really sure about the itmelist name (txt) but with those filled in when I go into the Files tab and open my d2x files and character files move the ones I want to the other side of the screen and hit generate report I get this error message.
Error

TXT File C:\Program Files\Diablo II\save\Boorsan.txt does not exist / If I moved this one out the next one will have the same error

Click on the flavie settings tab and replace those fields...

It's not something that can really get screwed up per se. The report name (html) will be what the report file is called. The itemlist name (txt) is what the text files that the report is based on are called.

Hi, I am having the same problem as posted in post #40 and post #126 of this thread. I looked at the whole thread and could not find an answer to this. Would someone be so kind as to post a link to where this problem is solved. It is not a huge deal but it is annoying. Thank you very much!

Hey guys i have a question

I need to format my HDD and i want to save my items and chars.
Will i make a dupe if i cut (NOT copy) the atma stash files (and character files) ?

By the way, in what manner do items in atma become "tainted", when trasfering items between characters (as said in atma tips page) ?

Since you are going to format it doesn't make any difference if you cut or copy off the hard disk. If you want to when you restore you can cut but really its not a bad idea to keep backups in case things get corrupted in the future. If you have any gold in the bank of atma don't forget to copy the atma.ini file in the root of C.

Is there a way to get the rainbow facets right in the Flavie report?
I've seen the problem mentioned a few times in this thread, but i don't think i've seen a solution.

I'll fix it when i'm not so busy. Dissertation is eating into my time pretty heavily >.<

@ Relli: You can go ahead and rename them, there's no name information stored in the hex.

Yeah i did it manualy. I cant find an option to rename stash in ATMA.

EDIT:
I have one other question if you dont mind..

In what manner do items become "tainted", when trasfering them between characters in ATMA (as said in ATMA tips page) ?

Items don't physically become tainted. Tainted is just a label given to items by members of this forum.

I'm sure you're aware of the various mods and such that you can get for Diablo 2 and how although it is possible to trade between mods, this isn't allowed without changing your mod status.

For instance, if you're playing vanilla (Diablo 2 without any other modifications) and you decide to create a character that uses the RWM (Rune word mod, allows online only runewords in single player), then the character that uses RWM would have been tainted by the mod. As would all their items, past, present and future.

So basically if you transfer items from your RWM character to your vanilla character in the example above, your vanilla character has become tainted by RWM and must now change it's mod status to be RWM.

Get it? :)

What the hell?

This is an ATMA/Flavie question concerning files corruption.

Today I updated my flavie list. Neither Atma or the game were open, and as a recently created character wasn't included in the flavie list yet (the list which is used to generate the report) I added her to the list, in the same manner I always add files. No problem, until now.

I load up the game, only to not have this character appear in the character screen... So, I'm like "WTF" since I can feel it coming already. I quit to desktop, load up Atma, try to load up the .d2s file, and what I get is "File is not a Diablo II save game file//Unable to load character file". Crap. I go to the DiabloII saves directory, and everything appears to be there... The .d2s file, the registry, the text file, the .org files, the .maO and .map files. Compared it to my other character files, and everything that's supposed to be there, is there. I click the text file and see the stuff in there.

I quit, start up the game again. She's not there. Rinse, repeat. I'm back in the saves directory, and now the text file is empty, so I'm pretty sure she's corrupted and I might as well forget it.

What the hell happened, and how do I go about this? Just delete the files I suppose?

Sorry if I'm coming across as a bit angry/frustrated, but that's just how I feel right now. Put all that hard work in for nothing. -_-
