Most Popular Classes

Out of the 7 classes, which do you think are the most popular to least popular?

1. Barbarian
2-6. Dunno XD

1/2 - sorc and pally (everybody needs sorcs to start for mf and pallys for mf, ut, uber D)
3 - barb
4 - zon
5 - necro
6 - druid

Based on my observations of the average number of people active on each of the class subforums, I'd say redground pretty much nailed it. Except for leaving out assassins. :oops:

1/2 - sorc and pally
3/4 - zon and barb
5 - assassin
6 - necro
7 - druid

Personally, I think that barbs are overrated but would otherwise rate them in that order. I also enjoy at least one build from every class, but some are better because of the wider variety of builds that are possible.

that's the way it occurs to me. this is how i would rate them power-wise

1. Amazon (only lightning javazons with infinity merc of course. to me, bowazons are a waste of time and "money")
2. Paladin
3. Barbarian
4. Necromancer
5. Druid
6. Assassin (indeed)
7. who am i missing? ah, right, Sorceress

Yeah its pretty much been summed up.
Sorceress are my least favorite yet the my most used so far >_>.
My list would probably be
1. Druid
2. Amazon
3. Paladin
4. Necromancer
5. Assassin
6. Barbarian
7. Sorceress
in terms of favouritism

bnet people class favourites (populars)

1- paladin (hammerdin), sorceress (light)
2- paladin (smiter/zealots for Ubers), assassin (trappers)
3- barbarians (for ubers), amazon (furyzon)
4- barbarians (gold finders), necromancer (fishys/summoners)
5- amazon (bowazon)
6- necromancer (bone)

as i see in this ladder, people seek these build's gear on ladder and nearly everyone, it is just like a plague. last few weeks nearly everyone on bnet was looking for bowazon gear lol.

my favourite class-build order (after 1.10)
1= assassin (martial arts, tstrike/dtail build)
2= paladin (zealot/smiter)
3= amazon (bowazon)
4= paladin (riftadin, very fun to play, just learned it this ladder)
5= necromancer (fishymancers)
.....
last= paladin (hammerdin)

didnot try other classes so much to make comment.

It's pretty obvious that Paladin is most popular build. Take a look at the ladder for example. I can also explain it further if you really want.

Should go like this:
1-Paladin
2-Sorceress
3-Amazon
4-Barbarian
5-Assasin
6-Necromancer
7-Druid

As for the 'power', or IMO, the potential of dealing the most damage

1-Sorceress (well, lite soso can mass up to 35k)
2-Paladin (hammers, and other sexy melee builds like chargers and sacrificers)
3-Amazon
4-Assasin
5-Barbarian
6-Druid
7-Necromancer (obviously)

Sorc #2

If you want to find out the most popular take a look at the ladder, which ever class has the most lvl97+ would be most popular I guess.

That would simply the classes that have the easier/best bot option - and then classes like amazons and assassin would be one of the lowest.

A much better objective list would the single player mat/pat/guardian thread - for single player that is - and perhaps hardcore ladders on bnet. I can't find a list of softcore bnet. The duppers screw things over.

i dont agree with you guys. Most sorcs go up to lvl 90 or so, they are just used for MF, and most of the people that have pallys have sorcs for MF.
