Who/what is Minsc and Boo, what is this "BG" you speak of and how does it relate to D2?

BG= Baldur's Gate, Black Isles CRPG masterpiece. A wonderful game with an even better sequel.

Minsc is one of the playable NPC:s from said game. A slightly ******ed Ranger who carries around a hamster (Boo) who is, according to Minsc, a "miniature giant space hamster".

So did anyone here ever play Planescape: Torment?

Yessir! Excellent game too. Fabulous story, and great interaction with NPC's.
I love the olde Black Isle games....

So did anyone here ever play Planescape: Torment?

YES!! Best story I´ve seen in any computer game. Excellent gameplay as well. I am going to play it for the fourth time soon. This time, I will try to become Chaotic Good. Help people, but still mock them, play around with stuff, and lie a lot.

My favourite character is the fast-mouthed Annah (played by Sheena Easton, using an accent so thick you can cut it with a knife. :lol: )

dw hes not dead. he just hasnt progressed very far. as in hes still in act 2 normal. most of my little bit of d2 time has gone towards hunting a superior 4 sock BB

God I love Minsc quotes. My all-time favorite is the one I'm always reminded of when I play D2.

"See battle Boo? RUN BOO RUN!!"

Whenever I see a Short battle bow I always think "Short Battle Bow? Run Bow Run!"

OK prolly only funny to me, but oh well.

Others (may not be perfect):
"Where Boo goes, evil stands aside."
"Jump on my sword while you can! I won't be as gentle."

I never liked minsc, in fact I always went out of my way to recruit him and make sure that he met a messy, but entertaining fate.
