Magic Finding and Runes

Not sure if this is being posted in the correct spot, but my question is can you find runes like Vex-Zod just by magic finding? If so then where's the best place to take a good look around for them.

Mf has no effect on rune drops.

Any high lvl area can drop the highest runes, but the chance is near 1,500,000 to 1.

You might want to check out ATMA, it's a single player muling program, but has a very nice drop calculator. you can google it, or find the link in the stickies.

Really, the best way to get high runes, is the trade for em.

Magic find won't help rune drops in any ways.

Alright thanks both of you. I only posted the thread because I had heard that people were finding Ohm runes from the Super Unique monster Thresh Socket on Act 5 in the Arreat Plateau.

Where is probably the best place to look for runes um and up? Has hell cows been the most successful? because the the runes cynical found sounds pretty good to me.

MFing items is your best bet. People have found items worth many hrs but never a legit hr.
