i'm sorry, maybe i'm just dumb, but i'd prefer a sexy looking sorc to an ugly purple one any day. I mean, sure, survivablility is cool and all, but please.... purple armour with brown caps are just ugly. And i'm sick of seeing them. Almost as bad as all those ugly green helms people used to run around with on their barbs. I'll take my sexy sorc- upgraded vipermagi (socketed with um, which makes it black) and a nice +skills coronet with her nice gray shield (pdiamond whistan's) that looks bad*** without covering her entire body (like that ugly gold stormshield or tower shields). And with the nice little daggar she carries, she still has full resists, plenty of mana and ok +skills, and all the killing power she needs :D

edit: screw the mf... i'll take looks over mf any day :D
 
Exactly, style is above all! That's why my pally uses a phase blade and wears a diadem. My barb with Guillaume's Face and Ironpelt and dual sword also looks cool (in 1.10, axe barb = barb without style).

very interesting to say the least..i think my flail sporting,purple armor wearing sorc is quite pimpy lookin,plus wit all her insane killing power and mf she finds nice lil daggers,magis,and whristans for all the people who like inferior chars
on acct of preferances on looks...(heheh) anyway,cheers

ok...if you are referring to me stereotyping than i must say that it was not my
intention to do so. basicly my point was that if you dont like tal armor because
its too spendy for you then thats understandable...but if u dont like it because
of the looks on ur char than id say u got a few issues....beings that you are
fine with having a less dominate char on acct of only looks. basicly id rather
have a better mfer/pvmer no matter what the appearance ended up. my sorc
could be holding mr hankey himself is long as that lil terd gave me +3 all skills,
38 all resist,and an oak sage...besides it keeps my "ugly" char alive longer!!!
as with anything else i post this is just my two pennies...thx :thumbsup:

hahahaha... but seriously though, what is with the fact that all the good gear is just plain ugly. I mean, shako, ugly. Vamp, ugly. Tals, ugly. I do like the fact that you can pick the color of your gear by what you socket it with though, that's kinda nice. Hmmm would socketed Tals armour not be purple anymore? Anyone? :D

(wait a minute... i can't host queer eye... i'm straight... doh well... have to come up with a new name :p )

And, my amazon has a Tal's Armor socketed with a perfect topaz. Still purple, though :) This should make you fashion guys cringe.... My amazon wears Tal's Armor with Nightwing Veil :uhhuh:

My favorite fashion faux pas in the game is still those silly druid chickenhats. I mean, come on! They're chickenhats! How can you fight evil dressed as a chicken?!

I keep meaning to make a druid just to see how much I can dress him up to look like Foghorn Leghorn. Is there any white armor in the game? White armor, red trim, and a chickenhat. Maybe Woody Woodpecker would be easier.
