low lvl item fund

Maybe we should expand this to other forums. I mean there's way more donations than people needing stuff on the sorceress forum. We could help many more people with the stuff we're receiving.......... think about it :)
 
I can also donate some...I currently have 3 full mule accounts on USWest ladder, and the more I mf meph the more mule accounts I have to make :P

well, i was serious, but i ran into one major problem that soepgroente pointed out: noone else can get on the account while that is happening. so having some afk is a horrible idea.

im sorry i've not been able to do much with this acount this week. its midterms week and i put off a lot of work til now. next wk is spring break. i can't wait.

EDIT: your probably right, soepgroente, about expanding. if we are trying to up the gear that is stored on them, we would need more donators, but we haven't been able to administrate it as big (or small) as it is now. if you really want to, tell me the forum, i can edit the original post saturday or something to include everything thats been said since.

i've been creating a list of ppl that left their accs here, and its getting pretty long, imagining it multiply by 3-4 is just... wow. right now its 8 or 9 accs per realm.

EDIT2: i just checked europe and someone dropped 2 full mules and a 3rd mule on it. could someone help burn those in?
 
Yea i received lotsa stuff that took 3 mules :drool:

I was thinking simply the trading forums, but people might get upset because we're ruining their trades by giving freebies that people are trying to sell and they'll miss the pfgems/runes they were going to get. At least the Newcomer forum could use this, and other of the class-specific fora. Maybe general strategy/community forum. Plenty of options :)

Oh btw, i think you should find a trustworthy person or two for east/west since it's no fun for you to check 3 realms.

Lastly, we shouldn't need to burn in the mules, just update them every few days.
 
I just started mfing hell meph yesterday, and its going pretty well.
If would like me to donate stuff, i will. Most importantly because i have gotten so much free stuff from others as well.

I am on europe HCL. the only thing that is important to me is that i can bring the items fast. i dont wanna be looking for some space on a mule for half an hour, i just want to drop off some **** in 1 or 2 minutes between the meph runs.

In fact, i think you could just make an open game, place a mule in it so it stays open, and if the few avid mfers i know on europe HCL would also drop their unneeded stuff there, the floor would be littered all day long, even with stuff dissapearing fast, new people could just be told to go to that game and wait for the stuff they can use to come allong.

Hi, I'm new to this forum but I've played Diablo and Diablo II since about 1999.
Anyway, on one of the other threads I learned that a good place to do MF runs was in The Pit in the Tamoe Highlands. I decided to do a Pit run in Nightmare (didn't want to accidentaly bite off more than I can chew the first time) and got several Amulets, a Normal Unique Belt "Nightsmoke" and a Dol rune. Now, a Dol rune is probably not a big deal to most people, but if you're like me, and have been slowly upgrading all your Runes and the highest level Rune you had was a Dol, then just being HANDED one is a Boon!
So what's my point? Well, as a gesture of thanks towards the posters and this forum in general, I would like to donate my collection of Normal Unique Items. If somebody contacts me online /w *LordGawain I'd be happy to contribute to the community chest.

well im acually one of those who needs the items but i need the for my mf sorc im making of ladder. ill glady return the items and donate more when i can. if u could /w me and help me out the account name is Hells_Brethren. im sure that it isnt needed but if you happen to make a non ladder i could really help on that. well i tihnk its great that ur doing this for ppl :thumbsup:
 
what do you mean some lowlevel sets aren't good? Hsarus (full) is insane at the super high levels!

PS - We should have an online list of the people who take items, then hunt them down like 60 days later (which i think is ample time for someone to level with low level items) and return them

PSS - actually i don' know about that idea, it be more like renting items than a charity don't you guys think so?
 
I've been playing untwinked for awhile but I think I want to start an mf sorc. I could really appreciate some low level uniques or such for her on USEast HCL. It's terribly hard to hold on to anything when you die with crap in your stash. I should probably mule more often... Anyway, I'd gladly contribute if I could ever get this sorc up to par.
 
you can count me in to. I play ladder east. I love to mf and I always find stuff that i already have and just leave it or sell it. I also have tons of stuff on a bunch of mules I could probably get rid of to start. my account is Queen_ofdiablo
 
Question

Are non-ladder characters allowed to gain some of these items? Cause I have a new MeteoOrb sorc who needs some new gear. Made her non-ladder so i could do MF runs for myself and my friends who don't like the ladder, plus I planned on making a ladder character when the new season starts. I basically just returned to D2 and am trying to get the hang of the new changes. If not I understand.

I am on spring break now, and im on dialup, so muling is just about all im willing to risk doing now. i'm not messing around with europe anymore, soepgroente's got that covered, but i will be messing with east and west. ill be one of those now.
 
alright, Jackson is the hired help for west. accs:

he also is donating 5 (one might have expired) of west non-ladder stuff.

so we can now be realm specific for this stuff. soepgroentes on europe. im on east and jackson is on west. from an hr of muling today, i filled up 3 chars on each west and east. so all the realms have atleast something on them.
