Lilith = Counter Dupe?

simple to stop

imho, it's pointless to fight duping. they'll always find a way, and any attempt to stop them will hinder all players, not just them.

hi

my personal opinion, is that you are wrong. all duping, hacks, scripts etc could be stopped so easily.

look at the multiplayer games Quake3, America's army, doom3, just to name a few. all these games have PunkBuster installed, all are cheat free on those servers.

instead of having a free patch, blizzard should have charged us 5 pounds, then this money could have been used to fund Punkbuster.
once Punkbuster is enabled then that company looks after all updates, listens to the community and solves all the problems that cheaters cause in gameplay.
updates come as soon as a new hack..etc is released.

it's so simple to stop the cheaters.

if you have never heard of Punkbuster, then just do a Google search.

charging money for a 5 year old game? Don't think so.

hi

you could always play on the servers without cheat checking, that way you could save your money and use hacks.

as too this game being 5 years old, well, the first release was 5 years ago, but with each patch/update the game progresses to another level.

such a small price to pay for secure/cheat free game play.

Unfortunately your basic premise is flawed. The games you list are all fps. Beyond winning a particular game, there is no incentive to cheat in the game. In D2, that's not the case. Dupers selling items make money off of it. That means they have an economic incentive to cheat. People with an economic incentive are going to put a much greater amount of effort into cheating than ones who don't.

Punkbuster is a decent system, but it's not foolproof. Charging people to implement it might work until the first time it was broken, at which point there'd be a lot of unhappy people.

How much I detest hack's and cheats as well as other ppl here and on bnet I don't think many share your opinion.

One of the great things about diabloII is that it is free and it will stay that way.

It would be different if they had charged money from the start

C Squad, we do not allow double posting in the manner you did last night, you can edit posts within one hour of creation.

duping could be stopped if blizzard did a rather much amount of ruststorm.

my best guess on the drop of lilith would be a large charm with +2 all skills (you cannot wear it at same time with anni).

my best guess on the summoning of lilith would be selling 4 anni, and it will appear in ur game only (hence the party of 4), and you'll have to search her.

about that screenshot of diablo2exp, I was the second to reply to that & stating its fake cause (s)he forgot to edit out the "Andariel" with stats.
If not we'll know as soon as 1.11 is here.
