this like many things can be exploited. always pick up the most popular elite armors (dusk, archon, maybe wire fleece) if they're cracked or otherwise low quality. do the handy dandy fix in the cube and you'll get an armor with a random def that if you then larzuk is guarunteed to get 3os (perfect for the favorite runewords).

But non-superior socketables are kinda cheap, so imo it's not worth the larzuk quest

it's all perspective. i'd rather have a perfect def, non superior enigma than anything else including a spare larzuk socket. not like it takes long to rush a mule to the socket quest.

Agreed, i was looking from the wealth/trade angle of view.

Won't work. If an item already has sockets, then Larzuk can't put more in. Only plain items can be used to add sockets to by Larzuk.

Put shaels in if it helps you with a breakpoint. Otherwise maybe Eths if you have low AR, a perfect sapphire to chill enemies or enhanced damage jewels to increase physical damage.

i did it to a magical armor and it worked, so its not only fo rnormal items, i only got 1 socket, wasn't happy, so i copied over one of my backup save folders and tried it again and got 2 (might be random like charsi abit)

It's randomly 1-2 sockets for magical items, 1 for rares and uniques and max possible amount for white/gray. Can't add sockets if the item already has got them. Also obviously not to jewelery, belts, boots, gloves
