Solidarity with all workers worldwide! I know most everybody else celebrates May Day, which has some importance in the history of labor. In the US, we have this day of shopping and beer drinking and television watching, and it's largely meaningless, with no historical import or connection. If I'm not careful, I'll slip into a socialist rant, and this is a place for D2, not (necessarily) socialist labor politics...

RL: not shopping, that's for sure, except maybe some groceries that I forgot on Saturday. I need to do a bit of picking up, was a load of clothes, sweep/mop the floor, and run the vacuum, but other than that, the day is wide open. I'll probably just surf the interwebs all day, but who knows. I'll definitely shoot the 365 picture: I'm not sure what it'll be, yet, but it'll mark daily picture #250, so GoGo me, I guess. I'll probably nap. I hope to (see below). I might see about getting out to lunch with momma, maybe, or over to a friend's place to lounge in the pool (though the friend at who's apartment this became a twice-yearly tradition recently moved away... I'll have to see if the rest of the crew has any plans), I might drive out into the country or go for a walk. Or monkeys might fly out of my...
Currently sipping coffee, reading forums, watching labor day sales ads flood the email inbox, and listening to cats play.
Here as soon as hit the post button, I guess I'll get started on the clothes washing, and maybe the picking up/counters/sweep/mop, but it's too early for the vacuum yet.
Oooh! And I think I'll listen to some Pete Seeger.

D2: I'd like to make some progress on one or another of the tourney characters I'm working on, but I'm a bit worried about my shoulders/elbows/wrists, most of which have been a bit talkative of late, so I should probably lay off the computer usage and desk-sitting to the extent possible.
