KTA - Team SPEED - starting now!

well... we could make that the final goal of next session...
so first we play true the game like we normaly do... then when we are finished we allow some twinking... just to make it possible... and then on the final evening of that KTA we could take m on.

to give ourselve a fighting chance we should be selecting a party that ... together... works well enough to make it happen. we should be selecting quite a strong force to be able to do that..

just my 2 cents.
 
We're not in that bad a shape for ubering as is, at least in the crushing blow department, and also many of us use fast physical attacks to benefit from life tap.

For the next round: I've read about the "Pick your poison" tournament in the single player forum. While I don't want to go that underpowered, I like the idea of randomly changing chars from session to session.

Can anyone be tempted to take that idea to multiplayer?:scratch:

There have been other themed tournaments like that before, without the restrictions to stat distribution and itemization.

For multiplayer, basically we'd think up a capable team of chars to play and create each one on a new account. Then before every session we randomize who gets to play which character for this one week.
 
Well, I really like the original idea, but since we will be a team with a common goal that takes out a lot of the fun factors.

All we would actually be changing is the character you're playing from week to week. Could be fun, I guess... Not sure about it yet :)

Well at the rip old age of Lvl 17 he entered a Cow game - a level 85 druid was running around. I had just done a bad deed (I killed the king on his open) he was oblivious at the other end of the screen and i wondered over - to witness him attempted to kill me and a few other with tppk. He missed I felt so sorry I told him I would stand next to him so he could kill me - he then instead of one hit killing me - used a hack.....:grin: How bad do u have to be to do that.

Am onto my pure Defensive Necro - all in bone armor with 1 in golem and rubbish bow (the worse the better)

My BMPK R Poor game got a level 50 ish necro in who asked if I used the hack I said no your all pretty poor gamers and got hostiled - I saw a few bone spirits fly towards me but I outran them..... damn I'm just too hard to kill

Just about to go into a new game to see who trys their luck now against...

No one was on last night again? Or am I getting on tooo late to see you guys?! I have a lot going on in my house atm so no playtime for meeee...:disappointed:

I acually found a public NM Baalrun last night where everyone was polite and chatty, no TPPK attempts or bad-mannered behavior (considering the barb who was running it could have gone coco-nutz anytime he liked with 14k dmg as he had Enigma, BoTD and was waiting for lvls for his Torch n Anni :shocked: but he acually was lvl-ing with mid gear to get to his prizes...weird...) and I managed to get to clvl 73 (near 74) with my ubersmiter (as the game was full 70% of the time) which is a big bonus!

EDIT: Nest I don't wanna be rude buddy but please leave me feedback on the Trade forums as I have done for you...this aint eBay I know, but i'd like that point of rating! :D
 
i was there last night... as were nest and McCain.

also till pretty late... 23:15 at least.

well.. from sunday on i will be having a lot of playtime... so we should be meeting a lot from then on.

Yeah I have not been on in 2 days really - should be on over the weekend to see if I can get my smiter up to you Kaxe, also troop on with my Amazon and the rest of them.
 
Dang! I got on just after 11 or maybe a bit more...maybe 20 past so I just missed ya Tika! I haven't really been on the last coupla days either Ivan!

Oh well, I might well be on Sunday but i'm not sure what the score is, still got a lot of painting to do over this weekend but I hope to catch you guys at some point!

After KTA, who is stickin' around? Me n the missus had major problems this weekend so I wouldn't have got on d2 no-way-no-how but today should be OK...sorc is ready for norm Baals and smiter NM Baals depending on who's in and wants do to what!

Tonight for the KTA session I am unlikely to be on, my granmother is very ill in Hospital so thats where I'll be probably.

I should be on when I get back, but its unlikely to be in time for the start. So feel free to start without me.

I'll just carry on with either my smiter (59) or sorc (42) when I'm back.

I'm on for this evening. It's Duriel showdown time which will be good and hopefully some tasty drops. We've had pretty poor luck with drops this time round.

I will be on tonight, but I have been unable to catch up with you guys on my ama. I have no Insight and even if I did she would probably not be soloable through hell with her current gear and stat/skill distribution.

So to get me going with you we'd have to rush me up to where you guys finished last week.
 
Yesterday was a remarkable experience, having full private Baalruns and rush. We should definatly do that more often, maybe we can even agree on a fixed day / time to do these. Nice people, nice chat, nice XP. :smiley:
 
Tika and I both filled 2 spaces each, Ivan and Nest joined ( no idea how many accounts each ) and I think someone messaged a friend of him.
