KTA East: So Long Baal
We began our quest this week at the beginning of Act 4 Normal. All of us were level 23 and 24 and everyone was there except Oxy who had to study for school (Note: D2 is more important then studying. Studying is for losers!)
2 Necromancers - Summoning
1 Assasin - Traps
1 Druid - Wind
1 Barb - Conc
I've had fun playing with everyone each week, but this week was by far the most fun. We made good progress and everyones skills are starting to become a little more powerfull!
I started the night with a level 1 BO that lasted for 1 minute, and combined with haplon's Oak we had pretty good life. I spent a lot of time trying to make sure everyone was BO'd before it ran out, I hope that nobody had any complaints! :laugh:
With our massive skelleton meat shield we absolutly slaughtered Act 4. Its a shame Rabbitz didn't show up with his Sorc though, as a little static would have made the fight with Izual a bit more fun (read: faster)
the General's Mace dropped early on and was generously given to me. I'm loving this weapon! It has mana leech so mana is no longer a problem for me, and its super fast!
The fight with Diablo was relativily tame. The Skelletons lasted longer then I thought they would to be honest, but still there was only 3 left between 2 summoners by the end of the fight! The only scary part for me happened early on in the fight. His life was dropping very slowly and I had settled in for a long fight of holding the attack button down when I got an itch.. down there. Not thinking much of it I happily started scratching away with my left hand while still holding the attack button, and thats when he hossed me with his Lightning/Fire/Whatever attack. Normaly this wouldn't have been a problem except that my hand was no where near the 1,2,3,4 buttons for healing! My life was slivered to nothing by the time I got to the Juv button (3) and I must have hit the 1,2,3,q,w,tild, and tab buttons while I was mashing!
We breazed through Act 5 also, the only thing we didn't do is kill Nihlithalk. I used my Socket quest to put a Perfect Skull(from Forge) in my mace, for some extra LL, and I made a Ancients Pledge with my runes from quest 2 (Thanks for the 3os Shield!)
I also ended up with Sanders Gloves and boots. Combined with my passive r/w skill I have a whopping 58% faster r/w! Anyone wanna race?!?
We are only short a Sol rune and a 4os Polearm and we can make an Insight stick. I did 1 solo run around after everyone left and I found 3 Nef runes and an Ort rune believe it or not, but no Sol. So if anyone finds one hang onto it!
I also found a +1 Assasin skills ammy (with Half Freeze Duration). Which I will hang onto for Rathi if you want it.
The highlight of my night was deffinetly the rare Barb helm I found. +1 to War Cries and damn its sexy! Yar! SO much better then that stupid Horned Helm I had on before.
Oxy, we missed you this week. We are all level 31-33 I believe and ready to start norm Baals. I hope you can make it next week, feel free to message me if you need any help catching up.

p.s We should start talking about who's going to use which merc since we are going to be in Act 2 nm soon! Also, I think the Prayer merc should get the Insight Stick if/when we get it. Since meditation synergieses Prayer.
