That's the only misstep I've ever made. Trying to shuffle items around in bnet stash, I once (or twice, thrice, etc) dropped a jewel/rune/gem in a socketable when I really didn't mean to.

I've never misplaced a runeword since I'm fairly OCD about it.

I'm gonna have to retract my previous post saying I have never messed up a runeword.

About an hour ago I decided to make my merc an insight weapon.
So, I take a 4OS lance, and socket it (properly), and then realize that it isn't a polearm. :-|

I screwed up an Insight once, but who cares? It's junk runes and if the base item matters then a Hel will fix the situation. My worst was accidentally socketing a 5/5 light facet into a junk necro wand. You don't make that mistake twice.

Once I tried to make an insight in an eth war pike.
