jump/jump attack not working

I figure that this has already been brought up before sometime but I can't find it anywhere. Sometimes when using jump with my barb, it doesn't do anything, he just sits there and doesn't jump. The same applies for jump attack. The mana doesn't go down or anything but he does make a small movement. Sometimes jump won't work and jump attack will and vice versa but often both don't work.

It seems to happen most often on the desert world and particularly through the halls of the dead and other places that use this tileset. Has anyone else experienced this and perhaps know of a solution?

I'm using version 1.11b at present, but had the same problem in 1.11 I reckon.

You might be jumping too close to an enemy or targeting something too close to yourself.

In that case, try holding down the alt button {which shows all dropped items, but removes target names}. Just aim and you will jump to where your pointer is. Makes it hard to target a specific leap attack vrs a boss out of a pack, but thats where leap should be used - to knock the little guys away from the boss.

I do hope that is as simple as this, I'll try it when I get home tonight. There is certainly a lot of things to click on in the tombs, (urns and such) so it sounds feasible. I won't be convinced until I try it though.

I use leap as a convenience skills as well, particularly in the arcane santurary and the forest world instead of walking around to cross bridges all the time.

what levels your leap? if your leap level is like 5 is has VERY poor range, the higher level the leap the further u can leap, leap attack can leap anywhere at lvl 1, might be a bit dodgy if u leap attack right next to where your standing

Yea, after a while my leap attack just stops working altogehter until i exit and join a new game. I don't know why, though

the same problem. wherever you would click with leap/leap attack, the barb behaves as if he is in town.

only happens to me if (on my screen) i happen to get hit right as i start my leap, and i would then fly straight up and land on the same spot, after that i can't leap until i rejoin.

leap bug, it happens when you are interupted by atack at the begining of leap animation. s&e is only option to counter this bug.
