i've been told to post it here by surprised friend

when rushing ppl u often encounter the problem of being unable to talk to Jerhyn, most ppl exit the game, make another, talk, and return

i found that when everyone leaves town and returns the Jerhyn will walk up to the person needing the quest (sometimes he walks right away after speaking with Tyrael, sometimes when u leave town he walks only a bit and u need to leave again)
hope this saves time and frustration

I believe what is needed is to remember to talk with atma after having killed summoner. That way the guards wont be in the way. Cant remember if you have to talk with her again after duriel too.

The other option is for the rusher to tele from palace cellar level 1 up to just before the town stairs and make a tp there.

It might also help if the rushee does not speak with him(jerhyn) at any time before the duriel quest is completed. Cause then he'll still want to make his welcome speech and be eagar to talk to you all about his wonderful town.

You need to talk to drognan after having gotten the viper amulet, before anyone (the rusher) enters the arcane sanctuary.

i never speak to jerhyn yet he's always at the palace, giving me the welcoming speech

Another nice thing about WarlockCC's idea about leaving a tp in the palace is now you can go back down and take the tp, which is conveniently located right next to Meshif.

Yeah, it does save a lot of time walking to "Massive".

to allow entrance to his palace, one of the rushees must talk to drognan before the rusher goes to arcane

if all else fails, ask them to leave and make a new game, talk to jeryn then Meshif and sail east, exit and rejoin the rush game

Talk to everyone in town during the rush.

the rusher can do claw viper first, this will give everyone in town extra time to talk to drognan, then the rusher doesn't have to slow down and wait.
