Is the strength worth it for Up'D hoz for a V/T?

I was just wondering...uped Hoz needs 142 strenth to use...is it such a goood idea to waste so much strength on a smiter like that? I mean...the only main reason to up it is for the defence right? Im using grief Pb + fortitude set up, planning to Ber shako and Ber hoz...but duno if i should up or not.

Also, another question...should i spend the 4 points to get vigor or is vigor not needed since u can just charge to catch ur opponents? Any imput would be greatly appreciated. My thnx in advance.

Yes Up the HoZ because Up'd HoZ gives much more Smite damage since it's Elite class. Getting Vigor would be smart because personally, I find it easier to Desynch with Vigor on.

First off, if you are a V/T you are definitely using an armor that has +skills and +str (Enigma?). You will more than likely have an Annihilus as well. The STRENGTH gained from +str items is going to give you more than enough to carry your Up'd HoZ.

You are fine...do not add points to Vigor...CHARGE is sufficient for closing the gap...and since it is a pre-req for Holy Shield, it is a more efficient use of points. However if you want to QUICKLY close the gap...Vigor would suit you.

IMHO, Charge is adequate...but it may be more your style to use a VIGOR CHARGE.

Well the thing is...im dead set pretty much on using fortitude...because of its insane 300% ed....With that in mind, is it still worth it to have an up'd hoz?

If you want extra ED% use phoneix instead of fort. Enigma gives you str which means more life. The base damage on the shield really doesn't matter much anymore if your using grief. Up'ed HOZ was the best smite shield untill grief. Use any shield that gives you what you lack. I would go with a stormshield for the DR.

The only reason that you would use a fort or phoneix would be to get yourself from a 4 hit kill to a 3. If it doesn't add enough damage to change the number of hits it take to kill then whats the point?
