How much life is needed for Uber Running?

How much life is needed for Uber Running?

My Uber paladin Zmiter build is done, he's level 80.

I have all the required gear:
-Heaven's Light PulPul (If I use my lifetap wand instead of Drac's and switch in for Laying of Hands I should hit the last framerate with Highlord's too)
-Non-Upped HoZ PDiamond (could easily be upped)
-Wyrmhyde Duress
-Treks
-Ravenfrost/Dwarfstar/SoJ (Use SoJ just for the skills when I'm keyhunting or whatever)
-Guils Um
-Drac's/LoH
-Credendum
-Highlord's

My pally only has 1350 life.

Realistically, with this gear set-up, how much life do I need to take them down safely?

Saving up for a CTA is time I do not want to spend waiting.

I'm working on a Barb on another account which a friend can use to join game and BO/Shout me with...but is this really neccassary?
 
Realistically you should aim for 2000hp.

When I do ubers with my friend's barbarian, I get around 2200HP with BO. Even at the much HP, when I take on mephisto there many occasions where my HP drop to 3/5 with 1 HIT (Of course I leech back very quickly). I have around 40ish resistance after conviction (with the treachery trick).
 
Definitely have your friend come in and do some warcries on you. Every bit helps. As for the life leech, you don't need any. Life Tap will handle all your leeching needs :D .

What is the Treachery trick? I fear I will have nowhere near that much resistance against meph as mine are just enough to be maxed in hell. Of course, I have some charms I can add, but I'm more concerned with getting life charms.

So with a good BO against 1500 hp, I should clear 2000 easily, right? I just realized I can get almost 200 more by catching up on quests, haha.
 
Why pul pul in heaven's? Most of minions seem to be undead in uber tristram. And if you put it for the bosses you should know that the damage to demons doesn't help smite anyway...
 
I find a Kira's for a helm is more useful than Guillaume's face, simply because my resist will be stacked (If you have decent crushing blow else where, that is). Life is not as important if resist is stacked high.
 
I'm soloing them with 1.7k life without problems on ladder. My nl zealot that has lower vita (I built him last season when I was composing my fanatic zealot guide ,with high str. to test gear combos) has 1.2k life and somewhat more difficulties. Even so with 1.2k it is doable. Resists are the key as anime said.
 
The new runeword 'Treachery' Armor have the chance to cast fade once struck.
Fade gives 60resist (and some damage reduction, apparently) and has a good duration.

Just wear the armor, go outside haggorath, stand on an area of burning flame to trigger fade. Once fade's triggered you can freely change back to your default armor.

Redeemer spawns with 60-120 +damage if i m not mistaken. Yes a high one will be very beneficial to smite damage but it is very slow weapon. If you go for it shael it ,keep the highlords and find 20%ias from somewhere else as well for the last smite bp.

exactlt, but if ur shield and helm have ias than it is superior, but keep in mind if the redeemer is low u might as well go for astreons
 
Astreon's is the best of elite unique scepters yes. It is fast, it has cb, it has skills, it has slow, it has +damage...It is damn rare too. This season I have found only 3 caddys so far, a white (6% ed one), a blue and a near perfect gris :)
 
Currently my uber runner has just over 1300hp. It isn't really much of a struggle as long as resists are high, although meph did gank me in a sinlge hit once. If you're resists are low I think I'd be more worried about getting inferno'ed to death by a swarm of pit lords.
 
Having life tap is probably the most important thing.

Lazy: It's not really a trick. Put on the armour Teachery and get hit by any monsters (or simply a fire). There is a chance to cast Fade on that armour when struck, once Fade activates, switch the armour off and put your original armour back on. You'll still have the Fade on.
 
Last night I was fighthing Mephisto, everytime he hit me I lost like 30% health. But thanks to Life Tap I was able to leech it all back with one smite. Then suddenly BAM one hit and I was dead. My resists were 60 - 65 (using salvation) ,I had 1808 life and damage reduced by 23%. Did he do some sort of a hyper critical or something ?? :confused: Ouch !!
