Re: How do i make a proper wolf druid?
Since this is a thread, i would like to bring up the notion that there is no formal guide to a werewolf that pretty much shows you the ropes and capabilities of the charecter.
Lets see, first off it depends whether you are looking to duel or you want to do mf. Dueling is very expensive (though sometimes pretty good for cheap ie fireclaws druids) and you know requires per say enigma or foritude and some kind of really fast magical weapon that is probobly really rare and even much more hard to find. I had to take shrooms to find a perfect damage tomb reaver.
Godly shapeshifters are 1 in a million godly paladins, auradins, hammerdins, god knows what the hell is going on here dins. I find that if i practice with someone my dueling curve goes up tremendously, werewolves require trickery fients and running away to achive victory. Honestly if you are just starting out i recomend windy because they are good at mf with the low mf gear and esspecialy enigma. However, there is the thing about shapeshift druids where they can get around anywhere but chaos sanctuary with nothing more than a ribcracker, draculs grasp and something else halfway decent. Ribcracker is fairly cheap to get and can kill any boss. Even ubers. You will spend a lot more ammount of frustrating hours but you could get good at rushing hell forge quests for forge. And key running.
In my opinion any wolf can be good as long as they have tons of vita and 20 points in fury. Make sure you got 20 points in 4 other skills, we don't do so well mixed and matched. For uber runs feral rage is a good idea. You could max bear and dire wolf for a trust companion. I suggest maxing lycanthropy and a spirit (not thorns). Spirit prefferense is up to you i use enigma vita build with how, level 84 6200 life so far 2.5k-11k I could really use 2 40./15s.
Honestly though i am starting to think about rebuilding to a Werebear with secret weapon and dual damage type. Rabies does not help werewolves in pvm, only for pvp is it truly skill worthy imo. Remember, the faster the weapon the better.
