Help with stats, skills n where to level

Hi All..

I've just started to level up a javazon.. i use to use an bowazon.. but i wanted more of a challenge.. n heard that LF just mass kills groups of monsters in a matter of secs.. well newayz.. i'm currently at level 24

attribs are roughly around..

Str : 70ish
Dex: 80ish
Vit:only.. 20ish-30ish..
Energy: same as above.. =/

nehowz.. i was wondering.. i've been putting Dex up most of the time.. so should i start putting it on some other attrib? like Vit?

Well.. for mana concerns.. i've got items that can leech.. when i'm doing jab with my javazon.. the mana bowl just refills easily..

so skillswise.. my skills are generally low.. i got 10 unused skills.. n most of the jav skills are 1s onli.. well.. i dunno where to put them.. coz i was thinking of waiting for level 30 .. to get LF.. n just chuck them all on LF?

well nehowz.. so what to do? i have an item.. that is +1 skills for jav n spear skills. well.. Lightning bolt i got 2 in there.. didn't know why i have 2 n not one.. =/ .. n in the passives tree.. i got 4 for critical strike..

so please let me know.. should i wait for LF for now? or in the meantime.. chuck unused skill points on other skills?

ok.. atm.. i'm doing ok.. can kinda solo Duriel.. downwards to Acts 1.. obviously .. =_= .. so i dunno where to go to level .. to get decent exp.. if any of u could help me with this, it'll be much appreciative..

n also.. i haven't played Diablo 2 in a while.. so .. how do i get to the Cow levels? also.. my javazon is a non-ladder char.. so yeh.. please let me know.. n i'll be waiting for the good news.. thanks..

Oh.. also..

n also.. how do u upgrade the Titan's Revenge to ethereal? or it is possible to upgrade an ethereal Titan's afterwards rite? please let me know..

If you are able to afford it, try getting artic set to help you level up. At level 5 I'm doing 41-81 damage with it.
 
hi Lokii, and welcome to the forums :xmad:

Most of your questions regarding your build can be answered by reading the stickied lightning amazon guide on this forum.

Now to clear up some general issues:
When u hit lvl 30 you will only be able to put 1 point in LF, no matter how many points you have saved up. It is simply impossible to max LF (ie lvl 20) any earlier than lvl 49. If you are going to go pure Lightning then u can put the spare points into LF's synergies. Otherwise you will need to decide what backup skill/s you will use and add points accordingly. For more details on this read the guide.

Infact in general you really should read that guide as you are adding stat and skill points randomly and you will almost certainly mess her up - if you haven't done so already. Now if this doesn't bother you then nvm, but you are spending points in things you might not need. Infact my i suggest you read all the guide to familiarise yourself with 1.10 amazons in general.

As for leveling: (this is just a general guide)
act1 until lvl 12 (usually tristram runs if rushed, otherwise public party until you can get the andariel quest done)
act2 until lvl 18
act3 until lvl 21 - then Cow run to lvl 24 or tomb run until lvl 24
lvl 24 ancients, then normal baal runs until lvl 40 or so - iirc there is a leveling plan in my stickied guide - tho it may just be in the current version on my pc.

If you haven't got any high level friends to help "rush" you, then simply quest throught as best you can, but bear in mind the general act changing lvls, ie:
act 1 until lvl 12
act 2 13-18
act 3 19-23
act 4 23-24
act 5 24-whenever you can baal run.

To open the cow level you have to have killed baal on that difficulty level - if playing in cows is what you'd like then i strongly suggest you avoid public cow runs like the plague as some tit will kill the cow king (which means you will be unable to open yourself).

You can't make an non ethereal item into an ethereal item. Items have a random chance to be ethereal when they drop. On Non Ladder you also can't upgrade titans as the exceptional to elite recipe is Ladder Only (it is Pul + Lum + Perfect Emerald - into a horadric cube and transmute). To buy upgraded Titans on Non Ladder is sooo out of your price range atm it's untrue, unless you get very very lucky or have a rich and generous friend or 10. I suggest you forget about upgraded eth titans for a long time yet :).

Lasty by "buying the arctic set" he means trading it with another player online - usually done via forums - this site has trading forums. Or done ingame via "trading channels - TC's - ie you make a game called "need arctic set" or something similiar and see if ppl join. The you take it from there.

If you are as new as you say, then i strongly suggest you do lots of reading as this site - and the forums have all the answers if you look/search for them :)

thanks for that Shanksie.. u've been a good help.. for both of my posts =] well yeh.. my char is actually a ladder char.. so yeah.. its cool.. all i need is find a Titan's Revenge.. which a high lvl friend is helping me look for.. n i'm gonna upgrade it a lil later.. so yeh.. i just did Cow Levels last nite.. n with another High lvl friend.. the high level friends.. are all sorcs.. lolz.. well yeh.. they've been a good help.. giving me items n stuff.. so yeh.. i'm doing well

so yeah, i'm at lvl 26 now..

CS - lvl 8
Decoy - lvl 1
Jab - lvl 3
Critical Strike - lvl 4
Unused points - 1

so yeh.. gonna save up for the lvl 30 skills for now..

waiting to get to lvl 28 to wear another piece of armor..
but yeh.. before i even wore the shield, The Ward last nite.. i was getting whipped by those monsters near The Ancient's Way WP.. i dunno how i'll do now , since i got that shield.. i'll give it a try tonite..

so nehow.. what should i put up? str, dex, vit, or energy?

atm.. Energy is low.. n also Vit is pretty low.. at 30ish-40ish onli..
 
Standard for a Furyzon is:
Str - enough for gear (seeing as you don't know what your end game gear will be i suggest keeping enough unspent stat points so u can raise it up to ~110 if needed and thats 110 including the +str you may get from items.
Dex - for gear - as above really - but for a furyzon it's usually titans (109 dex), unless you go the max block route.
Vita - everything else
Energy - none

okaiz.. cool.. well Vit, is over 100 for sure..
Energy hasn't been uped..
n Dex is over 100 for sure..

Well.. atm.. my char is lvl 48 javazon.. haven't got much nice items.. but enough i guess for now..

LF - lvl 21-23 - with items, +1 skill to all skills, +2 jav skills
Charged Strike - 9 - will max
Jab - 3-4 - planning to max
Valk - 1 - planning on 17 or so
Critical Strike - 4 planning for just over 50%
Pierce - 4 - planning to get over 50%


doing quite well atm.. got LF - damage 1-700 per bolt (21 bolts)

so yeah.. they're cool

i got two weapons - on switch with replenish quantity.. n the other one with replenish quantity as well

well .. now.. my char is at lvl 79..

i maxed...

LF .. with +skills, its lvl 25 (+5 skills)
CS(Charged Strike) at lvl 25 with +skills (+5skills)
LS ( Lightning Strike) at lvl 6 with +skills (+5 skills)

Pierce is at lvl 6? with over 65%
Critical Strike is also around +50%
Valk is at lvl 11 (+5 skills)
Jab is at lvl 9 (+5 skills)

so atm.. i have 6 spare skill points unused.. n comtemplating on where to use them .. to deal with Lightning Immunes in Hell..

so yeh.. i'm not sure.. if i should max LS.. it may not do nething to the monsters..

or should i find more +skills.. so i can boost up my LF n CS so i can kill monsters with them skills..

hrmz.. i need to find a good RW for my Javazon.. i dunno.. should i put some points in the Arrows Skills?

but i realli want my char to be a pure Javazon..

I've got.. two Titan's Revenge.. on weapon switch as well
Two Dwarf Star Rings..
One Raven Frost Ring
One Manald Heal Ring
The Ward shield..
n Peasant Hat or something.. with some goodies..



i have no idea.. ppl.. plz give suggestions..
