Help! something baad happened...

Well i just made a Duress on 1.10, it said it was gemmed even though it was meant to be Duress. I transferred it to Atma and it said it was duress but only listed the mods from the runes. I transferred it to my char and try to load it up but it said it was a bad file or something, i put it back in the stash. Loaded up my char to test if he worked, and he did... but then i go back to my stash and now my friiggin Stash is a bad file. It says 0kb and is unable to open it...

I think it has to be something do with the fact that Duress/Splendor/Wind/Prudence or something used to be realm only in 1.10 or something? What version are your stashes?

I'm guessing that you started DII without the RWM enabled and that's why the Duress is only a gemmed armor.

Assuming you use ATMA/GoMule: To fix your stash try to rename the most recent backup copy to replace the current stash file. This will get rid of the Duress armor but should retain the rest of the stash.

you should have a .org file of the stash when you checked the duress the first time try it first before loosing the duress.

The Duress is a lost cause. If it was made in vanilla 1.10 then it will never be anything other than a gemmed armor. Still use the .org file to restore the stash.

Forgive my ignorance, but how do i try a .org file? I thought my stash was a .d2x file?

Only one stash and its version 1.10. I looked on Arreat Summit and it said Duress is a 1.10 Runeword, but didnt say anything about it not working in SP!

In your ATMA directory (possibly "C:\Program Files\ATMA V\ATMA_CONFIG"), you'll find a bunch of .org files. They are the backup files created by ATMA. By changing the .org extension to .d2x, you can access the backup stash. To revert to character backups, open your D2 save folder (C:\Program Files\Diablo II\save) and change the "character_name".org to "character_name".d2s.

I'm not sure if that's fine with all the members though, regarding legitness.

Is that it, cause I changed a backup file (items_9.org to items_9.d2x) and it doesnt list it in the stash section.
