I apologize for the semi-hijack, but this is somewhat on topic of odds of a rune drop: What are the chances of a Tal rune dropping from (I can't remember exactly, but it was one of the following) the following in catacombs lvl 2 normal:
a normal mosnster
a champion
a chest
a "super chest"
My lvl 20 sorceress just found one last night. I play D2 vanilla 1.10. I seem to recall it being either a normal monster or a champion (a ghoul). It was in one of the square corner rooms in catacombs with the 2 doors and some form of boss pack inside.
EDIT: Looking at ATMA's drop calculator, I see that a Tal drops from champion ghouls from cats lvl 3 or 4 with odds 1:5444, so that's not really that rare (it seems I also remembered wrong and it was on lvl 3 instead of 2, they all become so alike when there are more than 2 levels...) I should probably check there in the future first before I ask

Used to be the odds of a woman giving birth to sextuplets was nigh near impossable too, but it still happened, even without the use of fertially drugs as a "drop mod." I'd say once every 3-4 generations of the entire population of the earth is fairly high odds.

He's already used up all his luck from that drop to the end of his natural lifetime plus his children and for a couple of million generations onward.
