Hardcore Werebear Druid Gear Questions.

I've made a Werebear specializing in Maul, Hunger, Shockwave, and Oak Sage, and I have some questions about the gear I'm planning on having. Heres a list of the gear I want:

Helmet - Crown of Ages Corona.

Amulet - Cats Eye.

Body Armour - Shaftstop Mesh Armour.

Belt - Glooms Trap Mesh Belt.

Ring#1 - Highlords Wrath.

Ring#2 - Raven Frost.

Gloves - Steelrend Ogre Gauntlets.

Weapon - Berserker Axe with "Beast" runeword.

Shield - Stormshield Monarch.

Weapon Switch - Berserker Axe with "Call to Arms" runeword.

Shield Switch - Lidless Wall Grim Shield.

Boots - Natalyas Soul Mesh Boots.

Is this gear setup good for a Werebear Druid? If so, is it hard or almost impossible to get any of the items listed here? And are there any recommendations on other gear I should choose? Any answers and opinions are appreciated.

That's a lot of exspensive gear you listed there, easily 10+ ist worth, and that's just not a wise way to think about playing hc. Not to mention a lot of that gear just doesn't make any sense, a highlords wrath ring sure is something I'd like to see :lol:
Here's a list of cheaper gear if you got the route of a shockbear, I'm not exactly fond of maulers or fireclawers, so I won't try to tell you gear for them.

helm: jalals
armor: vipermagi
weapon: azurewrath or Bstar
weapon switch: mang song or +4 ariocs
shield: stormshield or rhyme
gloves: magefist or trang's gloves
belt: string of ears or arachnid mesh
boots: waterwalks
amulet: +2 druid/high life or resist ammy (if you get a lucky gamble) or angelic
ring #1: dwarfstar or angelic
ring #2: ravenfrost

That should cover up all the bases on a shocker, and not be too terribly exspensive, no single item there should cost more than a mal rune regardless of what realm you play on. Oh and btw, make sure you max grizzly, he'll make it up to you ;)

I just trades a Tal Mask and a Skullders Ire for a Stormshield. I know I kind of got ripped off, but I don't think I got ripped off too bad (for one, I got the Tal mask and the Skullders for free). Anyways, I need some gear recommendations for a mauler so does anyone have any advice?

The best equipment I've found would be:

Complete IK set (minus helm) - so maul, armor, gloves,boots,belt
Jalal's mane
Ravenfrost
ll/ml rare ring (if you can find a good one)
Mara's amulet

Not cheap, but not HORRIBLE either

That would be a good choice, but I'm gonna be using a stormshield so I won't be able to use the maul. You got any other cheap alternatives?
