I'm up to the palace now (actually, cleaned out HArem as well... I'll just rush through next run). Only 1 new green item, Civerb's Icon. Quite usefull, seeing as how I can use shockwave now, and the mana drain that causes is alleviated a bit now.

Quests solved 8 = 16
Waypoints 15 = 15
Set items eq 3 = 9

No more greens for me for now. Currently cleared out Spider forest and Great marsh. Next time I enter, a quick dash to the entrance of the flayer junge, and start killing from there. I hope Act III will land me a few more greens, particularly near the end.

Charlo, I would have added you in, but the stats you provide dont match. If you have 9 quests solved and are in the palace cellars, you should have more then 11 waypoints.

Venus is still working through Act II. Yesterday she entered the Maggot Lair. Often a pain, for her it was a breeze! Frozen Orb cuts through the lined up monsters, and teleport keeps Kaelim at her side (or rather her front).
Down in the Lair she had herself a fabulous drop from a boss Scarab… Hwanin's Justice! Woot! :jig: Not only is that her 15th (and probably last) green, but it is the only set weapon an Act II merc can wield. Kaelim got to finish off the desert levels, but Mizan (HF) will be joining her for the Palace. Kaelim’s resurrection costs were getting a bit too frequent, anyway.
On a downer note, Venus had to park Coldworm. (Can you really “park” an immovable object?) The old girl was LI and CI, so Static Field and Orb were ineffective. She was also LE, so Venus couldn’t even rain meteors on her or stand around while Kaelim poked her to death. Venus’ lightning and poison resists are both still seriously negative! In the end we just cleared everyone around her, then picked up the staff and left. :embarassed:

Blood Raven – incredible how she was still running away
Caves in Cold plains, after runaway – Filip’s all army was totally pwned here by two bosspacks, archers and the second one I even don’t know what was it, fast runaway and never back
Another unfinished thing – Griswold had very unpleasant aura and all the place here was quite unpleasant this time, so we cowardly didn’t kill him :undecided:
Also exploring Forgotten Tower was quite unpleasant, few bosspaks of archers and PI ghosts made me a bit scared every now and then, fortunatelly we managed to kill them all bastards. And reward: Tir + Tal

Smooth going still. Currently opened the durance, killed of the council, and stopped there.
My wolves now occasionally die to the nasty lightning/fire/cold attacks all over travincail. It's like the elemental pit of doom down there.
No new greens, but in this act alone, FOUR uniques dropped. Already. Sigh.

No problems in the durance, nor at mephisto. No useful drops either.
Tagged the waypoint in the city of the damned for now. Izual was a nuisance that took a bit of whacking, but not one recast or potion.
The first unique here dropped my next set item... The most commone one around, a green breastplate. I equipped it, and gave the Furs to the merc. My wolves work fine. I have 1 in raven, 5 in spirit wolves, 15 points in Dire Wolves, 2 in Grizzly, 2 in HoW, 2 in Lycantrophy, 1 in werebear and 1 in maul and 3 in shockwave. Prereqs Werewolf and Oak Sage both have a point as well.

Ill think i'll enter this one. Activity in the "Make no bones about it" is a little bit too low to be interesting. Meet Blisters, the Blizz-sorc who is sooo tired of walking.. Can't wait till I get teleport :tongue:

Blisters started off, quickly clearing Blood Moor, the Den of Evil and Cold Plains. She was going slow, killing most monsters with a staff she had purchased from Akara. Already at an early stage, Blisters learned to conjure Ice Blasts to cool her weary feet, but she soon discovered that the cold seemed to hurt her enemies. "Strange", she thought, "how can they not love this? It's so cool against the skin". It was time to go after the creature Blood Raven, so at it she went.
Blood Raven fell fast under the chilling bolts of Blisters', and the drop? WHAT?!!? That's wonderful... err... wait... stupid tournament... stupid rules... To top it off, i think ive never found som many topazes in Act I in a long, long time; 11 chipped ones already (4 WPs). It's just silly, and typical..
However, no set drops yet. I bet that the first one will be the Bul Kathos Collosus sword with ~190 str req...

No serious problem on way. I was curious about first hell act boss, Andariel. I think she is the easiest from act bosses for my necro and really Filip wasn’t in any danger. At the beginning my army showed a bit of stupidity, result was that they all were poisoned and slowly dying during fighting with fallens in that room. I moved a bit back, but skeletons step by step were dying and merc alone wasn’t able to hurt Andy at all. So I went to creat new army (for this purpose I always left somewhere on way few alive monsters, so for sure no re-run) and this time was excellent, they were fighting as one man and Andy was without any chance.
Typical junk drop (I wonder why bosses don’t drop any greens for me).
Act II will be a challenge with my poor light/cold resists.
