Somewhere to start for today, and it was the first thing I could see in Gory's quote of you that seemed off. I'm wondering if that's what one of the reasons were.
Oh, I see what you're saying. I was just commenting on corax's b) option with my own feeling, wasn't trying to drop any hints heh.

As town you want to avoid getting yourself killed yes, but its more important to focus on finding the people you actually want to lynch rather than just going on the cautious/defensive side. Those that are the most defensive or are just cruzing by waiting for others to take the lead are suspicious and will probably actually lead to them being lynched.
Yes a town vote is helpful, but a town vote just going with the bandwagon isn't helpful in the least.
So all of your theories you were going to smash out automatically became irrelevant then?
a) if its a possible one shot, it would have to be combined with something else for there to be 4 kills. Even if you look at it as, 1 mafia, 1 sk, 1 one shot, something is still missing.
b) has anything like that ever been in a mafia game? in all of the games I've played in on this forum I've never experienced that
c) indeed, its hard to figure out what really happened.

Ohh... I see what you mean now, especially considering the bolded part. Well I guess since you've explained it now, it won't matter if I answer the question again or not. I'll stand by my statement though, since that's actually how I feel when playing. But you are partly correct in your assumptions though. When playing mafia, my motive for being careful is to avoid being caught (duh?). As town I want to avoid getting myself killed, since if nothing else I can contribute with a town vote, or hopefully using a power rule in a smart way if I recieve one. For what it's worth, I'm trying my best to help the town this game.

Is it possible someone has a role similar to Meet Joe Black? Where there death is delayed by 1 day? That would mean if there were 2 kills a night, and someone used a 1-shot on the following night, it would go from 2 and 3 kills to 1 and 4, but that's just a random idea

Hm, I think I may see a possible reasoning behind this vote, but I don't think I'll ever be able to be at Gory's level of thinking for these kind of things.
If they are town probably, because the trade off between potentially killing a mafiso is weighed against the possibility of killing off town power roles. Although last game was the first time I've seen the PGO role available in the game, have there been any games on this forum that had a PGO before that?
Can I request a vote count as well before Moar gets a chance to unvote before we get to see if her vote counted in the first place?
What do you think is the possibility that it was a bomb? Does it have to be a bomb? Aren't there other possibilities as well?
And just individual SKs? Wouldn't that be a little insane? I guess you would expect them to kill one another at some point then right?

Why doesn't it? I grant that I don't really have a feel for balance, but given the completely open ended nature of these games I'm sure something could be arranged.

The only VI fright I have is that Moar is the VI.
Also, yes 4 kills are crazy, but I can't see why a town player would feel the need to discuss what the reasons could be. We have no information whatsoever (besides one IMO quite unbelievable claim), so we might as well be shooting in the dark when it comes to game set-up. All the posts speculating about bombs, delayed kills, zeus multiple killer of doom-theories, etc aren't relevant to anything besides distracting town from finding scum.
