Yeah, I had to pop in to see what the heck was going on over here. I'm still not ready to play on Bnet, I did start up on some Single Player after a few days. I'll do a few /players 8 pit runs every now and then to pass the time and to build on my ever increasing ATMA stash. If I were to ever start up on Bnet again, it wouldn't take long to build a viable stock of chars but I doubt I'll ever accumulate the wealth I had. I don't have the stomach to log those crazy hours again to get there. Crazy, crazy hours. :shocked:

Hey kav, I wondered how you were doing. Still going strong eh? I missed everyone too much to stay away, it was so strange logging onto the internet and not coming here. I guess I just needed the time and distance to put things behind me.

I know exaclty how you feel, even though I haven't been hacked I certainly couldn't muster enough will power to put in the hours to gather back the wealth I had.

I know I'm coming in late, but I just started playing again and decided to take a look at the other forums...
That's rough, all my gear is legit and it took me years to get up to some stuff that's even close to decent, if I got hacked I'd be uber-pissed. So how many of the people who were hacked had the same password as somewhere else?

I don't play much either out of 4 accounts I play about 3 characters, but I log on all the time to make sure they don't expire.
Some of my charaters go back years and they have memories attached to them.
My Paladin with points in everything ! I spent hours killing Diablo with my friend Raz with him.
The Amazon that was wicked before they nerfed multi-shot.
All my charaters from the different clans I was in.
Even some items have memories.
The first Stone Of Jordan you find, the Storm shield that dropped from a bug in the desert as you stare at the screen in amazement. The weird items you kept just for fun.
I play on East so can't offer any help but sound like there are enough people to get you going again

I've no idea, none at all. I hadn't even been playing for a while, mostly refreshing chars/mules once a week. I logged in three days after my last refreshing of my chars to find them stripped of all runewords, skiller's, torches, anni's, upgraded uniques, decent uniques, all charms worth a second look, merc gear too. I mean they took it all, even things like "spirit" shields, "Insight" and "Obedience" polearms(several of which were ethereal), of course all of the elite uniques like COA, Arachnid's, Drac's and other stuff like double upgraded bloodfist's etc.
It hurt mostly because I had several legit runewords, things I never imagined I'd actually make. Beast, two Hoto's, two Death weapons, the anni's and the COA were 100% legit, self found/made with self found runes. I doubt I'll ever achieve that again, ever. So yeah, they got the mother load. I'm sure they're very proud.
