God Hack, confirmed.

It's funny because when you duel someone who uses it, and they win, they still call you a "noob".

And if you win, they call you a noob.

Haha exactly, thats why I get them into a situation, where a 1 hit kill becomes possible, and then I batter them into the floor. The funniest part is, after you kill them everyone else goes out and nks the poor B'star . :cheesy:

don't sweat it too much.

First of all if blizzard still intends to support this game, it will be patched very soon, as it has been made public in the blizzard forums (Along with the solution to patch it up).

Secondly, it is highly detectable so anyone that is using godmode is at a high risk of getting their accts deleted and cd-keys banned.

His account was *BannedHacker if anyone else has seen him, USEast SC NL.

Holy cow, you bumped into BannedHacker just by accident. Oh man. ><

He's a guy that practically runs this other d2 forum....

Concerning the god hack: First off, it's apparently easy to patch.

Second: Well, it's better a godhack than a public dupe, ain't it? A retiring hacker was to publicize either a private dupe, or a godmode hack as a goodbye gift. (The people got to vote). But since someone leeked the godmode hack, he got pissed, and will not leek the dupe. This was so obviously done with the purpose of stopping the guy from releasing the dupe.

So it looks like the d2 economy will remain fairly stable for now. :teeth: Ebay sellers may also rejoice.

Personally, I don't know why anyone would want something as useless as a Godmode hack.

It doesnt really matter, its not all that hard to bypass with a strong character.

So what are you trying to say? Blizzard should leave it unchecked because a 'strong character' can still kill them?

I just don't understand the mentallity of the people at Blizzard...If I had a game that was still making me money and has been for years...I would support it and keep it up in running. "Suck it dry" so to speak...

@ UserM: My guess at why people use it is to be invincible in duels, but when eveyone and their grandma has it...there won't be a reason to duel anyhow..
