Frost Zealots look here! Giveaway!!!

You may have noticed (or then again maybe not) that I havent been around lately. Sadly, my current classes are giving me too much work to be able to play Diablo right now.

As such, I would like to give away my complete Frost Zealot setup from my character to someone on this board. Give me a creative reason, poem, short story, etc. to show me that you deserve it and I'll pick someone in a day or so. I figure it'll at least be fun this way!

You'll get all his items and all of his charms, all of which were aquired by playing untwinked and unrushed. I think what he's wearing is as close to my ideal recommendations as I've ever personally come.

That's very nice of you Kit, but you might want to state the realm the items are on, just to make sure that the person that gets it can use it :)

Please give it to DanW....please....if DanW can't use it (realm issues) I will come up with some wit...but with that effort (at least the quick work) he should be rewarded IMHO
 
Oh my lord Dan. 4 posts but damn, that looks like it may be it. I'm gonna leave this running one more day though thats, admittedly, unlikely to be topped by anything but an envelope full of cash (PM me for my mailing address if interested).

Oh, by the way, this is Hardcore Ladder East. Definately shouldve stated that right off. Even if you dont have an account on that particular realm/ladder, the stuff I give you should probably be enough to get you through every stage of the game. I mean, how often does someone just give away a HoZ, nonetheless an entire setup? =)

KBob, Stay Frosty is one of my all-time favorite phrases.

I'm glad you liked it. I have you to thank, after all, for making me aware of the value of "Thumpety thump thump" in a Frost Zealot build.

My first frosty, Kilim, had sold Crushflange literally the day before I read your guide. Nonetheless, he made it to level 60 before dying due to an excess of player stupidity--my own, that is. But, knock on wood, his brother Masakado is level 55 and climbing now.

With a Crushflange. ;)
 
Damn... I wanted to trade for some of those items, being on east hcl and all, but a giveaway is a very good idea, i also vote that Dan gets them, very creative, good job!
Also, check your pms, im pming you now (kit that is) if they are not full ;)
 
Dan, its a lock. The fact that you are the only person besides myself who TRULY understands the power of a Crushflange has removed all doubt.

When do you play? I'm free tomorrow afternoon ~2-6 if sometime in there is good.

Wow! Thanks a lot! I'm actually a little sorry that there weren't any other entries because I was looking forward to reading them.

I get out of work around 5 EST and I'm usually home by around 5:30 or so BUT I have obligations (read: taking care of the dog) so I might not be on until 6 or 6:30. The next couple of nights may not be great for me, but on Saturday I should be back to my broadband goodness. I'll PM my contact info to you tonight.

Again, thanks a lot! And thanks to TheKbob for planting the seed of the idea in my head. I saw "Stay Frosty," it started my train of thought down the tracks, and the rest is history.

If you play lad east at all, then at least hit my Freezer with some better armor than duriels or a crushflange for low lvls

Heh, Duriel's is what I had until very recently. I just traded for Guardian Angel, so my setup is GA, Tarnhelm/Blackhorn, Gore Rider, Moser's (2 perf diamonds), Crushflange/Ali Baba's, String, Nokozan ammy, crafted gloves, and rare rings, with a Buriza on switch. Not bad, but Kitriara's stuff will be a nice upgrade for me.

Once I sort things out, I'll see what I have available. I do have a friend playing a Shock-A-Lot who I try to keep hooked up with stuff, but there might be some possibilities. I'll let you know.

Well, if there is something you're looking for, let me know. I have a fair amount of non-Frosty stuff hanging around on some mules and I might have what you need.
