So... If I want to have max speed (most of the time), how should I equip my weapons? I plan on using a Grief PB 35% ias and a Death CS. All these numbers and calculators confuse me! :nod: I just want concrete advice: how should I equip these weapons, and how much ias do I need from other gear? Also, I won't be clicking on my weapons every time I switch to BO sticks, that'd quickly drive me insane. So if I lose some dmg from not doing that I don't mind, so long as I'm optimal about my choices otherwise. Thank you,

You'll put Grief in the left slot so it's primary, and probably aim for the 55 or 99 IAS breakpoints. I honestly don't see how 4 button presses 2 or 3 times in a game is so much hassle, but to each his own.

Wouldn't it be easier to be faster if I put the Grief in the right weapon slot, according to that? 16 ias for 11 'ticks' (whatever that means), vs. 99 ias if I put Grief in the left weapon slot? Or have I misunderstood something here? Also, the 51 or 99 is the total ias, right? So I've got 35% from Grief and then need 16/44 ias from other gear, correct? :scratchchin:

As for the clicking nuisance: I only play cookie cutter characters that require next to no tactics in D2. I want to switch my brains off and just pwn monsters until my eyes bleed and my grades start to drop. :nod: So those unmanly clicks kinda interfere with my modus operandi here.

Ok, so the switcharoo has pretty substantial benefits. Still, I prefer my easygoing style. :smug: Thank you for your advice; btw you didn't answer my last question: those ias numbers are the total ias required, correct? 'Cause if not, then I may consider doing those extra clicks after all.

Apologies, it's been a while since I looked at this stuff so I dun goofed when I used the script. You can actually do Death/Grief without bugging and still get the faster breakpoints, but they'll only apply when you actually hit. The downside (if you don't WSM bug) is that Death is primary, so Grief's ITD won't be as useful. I'd only go this route if you've got 10k+ AR and a leveled char, otherwise Grief/Death (slower breakpoints) might be the better option.

*Oh ye, in this case those IAS values are what you need off-weapon.

Primary weapon is the first one equipped... So I put Death on glove side, then Grief on boot side, and I need 10k ar and 16 ias from gear for 11 'ticks', right? OR: I put Grief on glove side, Death on boot side, and need less ar but 99 ias for 11 'ticks'? And in the last case that is the *total* ias needed, so I get 35% from Grief and need 64% from gear? Not sure if that is doable tbh. I guess I'll try it the first way, if I got this figured out correctly. Thanks for all the help,

well if you just want to own everything without worrying then dual grief might be for you only place death may have an edge is against baal and ubers anyway
