Jake was the first one to sense the trouble. In what should have been a time of celebration, there was a throbbing undercurrent of some different feeling. Distrust. Suspicion. Hatred. Jake Chambers, who had lived and died and lived again and died agaub and then finally Ka intervened such that he never died in the first place, was unusually attuned to the feelings of others around him. It was a blessing and a curse, and if you could ask Jake just at the moment what he thought of Ka, you might be uncomfortable by what you saw looking out at you from his boyish face.
As Jake tensed, the rest of his ka-tet began to sense what he sensed, attuned as they were to one another. Both Jake and Eddie began to act on instinct ... on incomplete training. Almost simultaneously they reached for their guns, but the hands of the gunslinger stayed them, along with his harsh whisper: "You have forgotten the faces of your fathers! Would you kill so many innocents to save one? Would you use the threat of the gunslinger to stay their hands now, only to leave her to face their wrath after we move on? Have you learned nothing?"
After that, the gunslinger and his ka-tet only watched. If you, constant player, would look to see Roland's eyes at this moment, see them well. See the hard glint there. See them as he commits to memory another name to offer up before the tower at the end of his quest. See in them his weariness with the petty suspicion and foolishness of a world which has moved on. Look well and remember.
After a few tense minutes more, the mood shifted so that it did not take any attunement with Ka to sense the change. First one voice, then another, then many voice in unison were raised against her. Had she not stood with the gunslingers and fought against the wolves? Had she not suffered the same as all in the Callas? He protestations fell upon deaf ears. The facts no longer mattered. The mob had taken over, and the mob would be served.
In the end, at least it was a clean death. She was defiant until the last and as the blow began to fall that would end her life and send her to whatever lay beyond in the darkness of the Prim, Zalia Jaffords shouted out to her sisters "ORIZA!"

Day two has ended. Please have your night actions submitted as early as possible. Once again apologies for my absence for much of the late part of this day phase. Day three will begin in a little over 22 hours (it took awhile to do an activity check and confirm the votes... one person came perilously close to being modkilled for activity reasons).
----------------------------------------------
As for the matter I announced earlier. After careful consideration of the situation, and talking with the infractor, I feel that it would be inappropriate to modkill two people for what will have a very minor impact on the game. I have compensated the other faction(s) in a way that should mitigate any damage done. I apologize to everyone for the disruption in the game flow.
