If they get role info, they would know it was a redirect of some type, but the specific reason they would not know.

Hmm. Normally in our games stories actually don't reflect night events. This game did not make that claim though, so it could be more possible.

You normally have no idea what happens unless you are an investigative role (cop, tracker, watcher, etc), and even then you normally only get the result (townie, or a list of names that your target visited) and not the name (CG is townie, Gory visited Mouse). That can change by mod though.

Anyways, what exactly are you thinking of for a neutral-mafia connection? I am not following that part.

As for others: cdm seems to have went into hiding. To me that says scummy.

I don't know if this is my suspicion of ZZZZAaaaaaaaaaaappp talking or if this is a slip by him:
He says there is evidence in the story for a townie killer. Ok, I get that and find it reasonable given the mod.
Working backwards he could easily have come to that conclusion from having his mafia team not reveal the kill flip at all. Thoughts?
 
So I just went through CDM's post history...and I don't know, as a player I really don't get a feel from him either way. Feels like he posted a lot without actually contributing much other than raising this controversy about his vt claim. I'd uncertain about him, and I will be uncertain about him until he dies, so I'd like that to happen earlier rather than later so I can decrease the number of things I'm concerned about.

Announcement: To all players: I made a mistake handing out roles in this game. I was not explicit in all cases that role usage is accomplished by PMing me or posting in the QT for those players who have one to post in. As a result, one of the new players PM'd another player. I am considering how to either penalize the one side or give a bonus to the other side to correct the damage.

The most important thing is that all players need to be aware that to use a power you have, you need to pm me how you would like to use it and/or post it in a QT thread if you have access to one

*Drixx mutters something about assumptions...

Re: Gwaihir - I am and was inclined to think he was not faking it. Why would he? Seems like an odd thing to fake.

Re: the rest - There are a lot of people to read, a lot of posts to go through. My initial read on you is a gut, and not something I can back up with evidence just yet. I mainly wanted to see how you'd react to being hypothetically shot, considering our discussion of it yesterday.
 
There doesn't seem to have been any other effects from Gwaihir's silencing has there? Other than the obvious unable to post for 24 hours. Now Caluin Graye seems to have gotten "silenced." Is it possible they are passing this malady among themselves? Or if an action triggers the silencing, or if it is the result of a nefarious act by no-goodniks.

Is there an instance of a virus or bacterial infection in the stories anyone can remember? I'm curious if The White or The Red had some kind of story related infection to deal with. (Just brainstorming)

Nothing like that that I can remember, but honestly it's been a very long time since I read the books.

Do you think the silence is a town power role or a mafia power role? Do you think someone would use that role on themselves / in the case of mafia a team mate?
 
I am going to head to bed shortly and almost 0 chance of me being awake at days end (damn games ending / starting at 6:30 am). My scum list atm includes CDM (the claim and his play has been sort of off), Goryani (Gut feeling, especially based on his defense of CDM's VT claim - if CDM is scum like I suspect I think Gory is scum too), Coju (setting up the whole BA / stegs connection and then going very quiet today), Philli (coming strong out of the gates against stegs despite not giving any evidence that he believed it in D1) and Zauper (the whole mafia would know if a kill was stopped by a doc / roleblocker / bulletproof).

I was tempted to vote for Zauper and probably would have where it not for Drixx's announcement. In light of that announcement (and based on his posts in thread) I think there is a good chance that Zauper is the person that made the mistake.

That leaves Coju, Philli, CDM and Gory. I will knock out Gory because my main reason for suspecting him is based on a link with CDM and thus it would make more sense to lynch CDM first. Philli I am not sure about, on the one hand his attack against kestegs felt premeditated on the other hand I am not sure a scum would put there neck out that far. Coju I would like to see a bit more from before I place a vote, which leaves me with
